Overall, really nice hotel, but couldn't stand the smell of the AC in the property and the rooms. I thought the roads would be more remodeled than they were OK . What the stuff was amazing really good breakfast. I gave her breakfast. Five stars. Also, the restaurant in the hotel was amazing. Really good food really good sushi really good stuff. Just didn't like the hotel needs a little bit rewarding and I thought it was newer.

The hotel is stunning, with beautiful views and nearly meets European and U.S. service standards. However, staff were kind but poorly trained, and the service was inconsistent, below expectations for a Leading Hotels of the World . Arrival experiences: I was greeted, but my parents were not, and I had to find help myself then luggage misplaced. the security guard at the entrance was unwelcoming, saying it wasn’t his job to assist guests. I don't blame him its how he was trained. The minibar in my room was broken and nearly empty. I had to ask for water to be delivered to the room (hot country )Some of our rooms received water and welcome treats, others, like my son’s, received nothing. Hotel information was unreliable, we were told no restaurants were open on Saturday, but two in fact were. Lastly, the noise levels at the pool and restaurant were uncomfortably high, unusual for a supposed five-star hotel. The hotel experience in Israel leaves something to be desired.

I understand this property has ancient history connected to it. When i came in the smell was overpowered with rose and misty. I booked for the dinner at the restaurant. No one wanted to serve me. The saving grace was the kind and caring manager who was willing to take care of everything. At that point i was so disappointed i left. The next night i stayed, i had class. I returned and tried to order myself a fruit plate from the late night menu. They told me the restaurant was closed they will call me to see what they can do. No one called so i went down to reception. Of which the person on call was kind and caring. He tried to get me a fruit plate. When the waitress came she told me she was afraid glass may be in the fruit. There was a plate that dropped earlier and she couldnt in good conscience serve it. I gave the 3 stats because of the 2 people that went out of their way to help me.
