Great views from each balcony! The rooms and bathrooms are a fair size and are very comfortable. The bathroom amenities are Ahava but are distributed sparsely. The hotel has a great pool, impossible on weekends as they let in non residents. Early in the morning perfect for laps but the water is cold for those not used to it. I found the water good, clean and perfect for an early swim. The beach is walking distance and the hotel has a special entry/exit for its clients (look for the timetable); if it's closed you have to walk around. The best breakfast spread and Shabbat the small Hallah's are wonderful. The elevators have a singular system and can be a long wait during Shabbat. Excellent Japanese restaurant. Consierge and service is generally good. Great improvements since I was last there over 8 years ago.
I stayed recently and thought the location and amenities were excellent. Staff in the Executive Lounge was very friendly and helpful. My main complaint that made me downgrade my review was the noise at night. There are many families with children staying there and I had several groups that let their kids run up and down the hallways yelling and screaming at night. Then the hotel staff would come out into the hallways and talk to each other outside my door or talk on their mobile phones at night. The noise kept me awake when I was trying to sleep due to early wake up calls in the morning. Staff didn't seem to care that they were loud. Overall, I was disappointed in how little they helped with noise at night, but if that doesn't bother you at all, then you will enjoy the rest of this property.
Don't stay here if you want service. Although nice it is difficult to get an excursion or tour planned through hotel. It is a crowded big hotel with tons of Americans. Felt more like Florida than Israel. Good was below average. Good location though. If you like big Jain hotels with little personality this is for you. I prefer something more service oriented with some panache. I stayed here with my kids because of the pool and I thought it would easy.
The hotel is greatly located and the upper floor rooms are great (on our second stay, we got the suite on the 4th floor and it doesn't have a separate door for the suite to enclose it so our baby get waking up from the other doors opening and closing), the kiddie pool and adult pool are great, but the elevators must be the worst in the country. They are using a new system but a chute would work faster than what they have. Waited at least 10 minutes every morning - MOST inefficient system ever! Also, no elevator to go to the beach and with a stroller and a flight of stairs, completely impractical.
Tel Aviv - THE best place to stay, as ever! Great location, wonderful views and easy access to the port or into town. Extremely helpful staff. We come back here time and time again for a relaxing break in the best beachfront spot!
Great hotel. I liked it. Expensive. Clean room with modern design. Beach is 5 minutes walk so it is not really easy to reach beach if you are with small kids. Ask for the room on a top floor, the view is better there.
Not a children friendly hotel, our children ( age from 9 to 22) were not allowed to play quiet board games and card games in the lobby area. They were sent to different area of the hotel but kept being told off!
We previously stayed at this hotel many years ago and found the employees to be so rude that we hadn't returned until now. Fortunately the personnel must have had some training because they were all very pleasant and helpful. The hotel is just very well decorated, both the public areas and the rooms. The room had more than sufficient storage space and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is located at the northern part of the beach hotel strip and is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. While we did not use the beach or pool they seemed very nice. The lap pool was fairly busy early in the morning with adults doing laps.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. From this location our kids had fun learning how to surf, use the play area and swimming pool. My wife and I enjoyed the spa and grass area for jogging. The room service was timely and the staff took good care of us.
First stayed here 45 years ago. Today it remains outstanding but totally refreshed for the next few decades. Service, food, position, pool and beaches make this a compelling easy choice! And the staff seal this.
