We arrived late and check-in was quick and easy. We were offered late checkout and told we could use the executive lounge anytime the next day (we had a really late flight). We had a room with 2 beds with a balcony and a sea view (looking away from the main promenade area, but still nice to see water in the morning). The beds were comfortable with down pillows and a lightweight down quilt. Plugs located next to bed. TV had a variety of English channels. Wifi was quick and Facetime worked fine (on basic and premium levels). Bathroom consisted of a separate tub/shower. Water pressure was good and plenty of hot water. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash all provided. Bell staff was helpful in storing bags and securing taxi to the airport. Executive lounge breakfast was a good spread and staff was super pleasant. I would definitely return. The only downside is that it is a bit of a walk from the main promenade area...it's the last hotel in hotel row.
I've been staying at the Hilton TA for years but they seem to be stuck in mediocrity when compared to other Hiltons. The staff need to be trained to "engage" with guests with a smile rather than an attitude.
We stayed at this hotel in October, during the Jewish holiday of Sukkot. The hotel was quite full during this time. We stayed with our 2 teens age 14 and 17 on the executive level floor eleven. We went up to the 12th floor each day to use the executive lounge. This was our 4th stay at this hotel. Our 14 year old was not allowed in the lounge as we knew because it was for 16 and older. This time we noticed that the employees working in the executive lounge were not as friendly and treated us, paying hotel guests, as trespassers. As soon as we sat down at the table they would run over and interrogate is as to which room we were in. Usually there is someone at the front desk of the lounge who asks for your room but this time there never seemed to be. We just thought it was unprofessional in the manner that they did it in. If they are so worried about guests from other floors coming in then they should have the electronic key entry system at the lounge like many other luxury hotels. We definitely love the Hilton in Tel Aviv and would stay there again as we love the service, the location, the pool and the food. Would have definitely given them an excellent except for the gentleman employee in the lounge who was very unfriendly.
Amazing hotel with exceptional lobby. Staff very helpful. Rachel of Hilton honours was always available to help. Best hotel in Tel Aviv and ideal location. Beautiful views from my room. Breakfast amazing. Every time we asked for something, staff always wanted to help.
Staff is extremly helpful and very professional. Most of the staff speaks English and are willing to assist with any issues. Breakfast is unbelievably fantastic, so many options and all tatse great. Rooms are kept very well.
We had a refurbished Vista room which was very comfortable with sofa, chair and large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Views from the balcony over the Mediterranean were stunning. We also had access to the 17th floor Vista lounge which served great breakfast, afternoon tea, dinner and drinks. Very well situated for great walks.
Renovated rooms were very nice although on the small side. Bathroom was a challenge for more than one person at the time (we were on the Executive Level floor). Lobby and restaurants beautiful. Service very good. Only negative is the SPA is vintage 1990 and desperately in need of an update.
We visited the Hilton December 2017 and loved our trip. If you are looking for an amazing hotel that is right on the beach this could be the one for you. The hotel is beautiful and has a huge range of facilities available even in the winter. The rooms are large and very high standard. There is a nice lobby with food and restaurants within the hotel to eat at too. Swimming pools are great including a childrens pool but it is saltwater and freezing in the winter so not many using it. Our kids love playing football and there are a few large areas they could use to play. Staff were great and extremely helpful. The hotel is near the port (10 minute walk) and there are many restaurants/ play areas there that are kid friendly too. If you want to visit places in Tel Aviv Hayarkon park and Sarona are 2 that we enjoyed but they are both taxi rides away.
One of the only hotels I have ever been to that makes you feel guilty you are a guest. How dare you ask for service? Receptionists were crummy. Time to check in was ridiculously long. Absolutely no staff remorse or accommodation. After all, just ask them: it has to be the customers’ fault!
This is really a first class hotel where nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Large rooms, well kept, well managed. Excellent food, superb views and minutes walk from the marina and waterfront. Central location. Plenty of reasonably priced parking.
