This very large holiday apartment is located between the Mozart city of Salzburg and King Ludwig II Castle on Herreninsel in Chiemsee, right on the edge of the forest in the quiet, original Achthal, municipality of Teisendorf, Berchtesgadener Land.

The apartment with its own entrance comprises the entire upper floor and attic of a two-family house and has a total living area of approx. 200 sqm. It consists of a large living-dining room (approx. 60 sqm) with a tiled stove, kitchen, bedroom with walk-in closet and bathroom. In the attic there are 2 further bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, designed as apartments. The two floors are connected by a generous staircase in a representative open hallway.

A large balcony covers the entire south side of the apartment and is supplemented by a large south-facing covered terrace, as well as a smaller east balcony in one of the two apartment rooms in the attic.

The garden on the south side in front of the house can also be used.

The apartment in the idyllic village of Achthal (approx. 100 inhabitants) in the municipality of Teisendorf in Berchtesgadener Land is in a very quiet location within a plot of over 3,000 square meters right on the edge of the forest and can only be reached via a private road.

Furnishing:
The entire apartment is fully furnished and can be occupied by up to 8 people.
Almost all rooms are designed with high-quality oak parquet, except for the bedroom on the upper floor, where there is carpeting. A fitted kitchen is also available as well as a large tiled stove as additional heating and provides pleasant, cozy warmth.

A very large and neat upper 2 floors in this house ~10min from Teisendorf. A challenge to find initially and definitely need a car if staying here. Had everything we needed during our stay.

Beautiful house in Bavaria

The house is very good build and comfortably can fit 6 people. Marion is a very lovely lady and came to help us get situated in the house and although didn’t speak English, we managed with Google translate. Everything is clean and good quality. One of the rooms even have a baby crib. The place has laundry and equipped for cooking. We really enjoyed our stay and recommend anyone who is interested in staying in one place and exploring Bavaria and Austria. One thing to consider: Google maps makes you turn on the previous street, but WASE brings you straight to the house just fine.

What a wonderful location and great rental property!

This house was fantastic!! It was very spacious and in a cool neighborhood. The little nearby grocery store was a little overwhelming and not a lot of English spoken there but we did our best! Also had a very charming bakery nearby. All the townspeople were very nice. Rental has a washer but no dryer. Used the clothes rack and they eventually dried. Very nice furniture and having three bathrooms was fantastic. Lots of snails around which we enjoyed as we don't have them here in Minnesota. We all loved it!

For a group of six older folks we had a grand time there. House very large and had everything we could ask for. The walk in closet was larger than some hotel rooms I have seen. Outside sitting area with large table. Spacious great room with plenty of sitting areas. The architecture was also very appealing. The only item of consern was the directions were a little confusing. Sehr schönes großes Ferienhaus!

Wir haben uns in dem großen Ferienhaus in Achthal sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz, und es gibt mehrere Sitzgelegenheiten sowohl innen als auch außen. Platz zum essen, zum spielen, zum computern, zum puzzeln etc.. Insbesondere den großen Tisch in der Loggia haben wir abends für das eine oder andere gemütliche Beisammensein genutzt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und sehr geräumig. Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich ein großer begehbarer Kleiderschrank, der neidisch macht. Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal hier, und wahrscheinlich auch nicht zum letzten Mal! :-))))))

Tolle Lage und geräumige Wohnung

Das Haus liegt in einer tollen Lage zwischen München und Salzburg. Es sind 2 Parkplätze am Haus, super ruhige Lage. Die Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter war völlig unkompliziert, mit dem einen und anderen Tip für den Urlaub. Die Menschen dort sind absolut freundlich und zuvorkommend. Selten durchweg so nette Leute kennen gelernt. In der Umgebung liegen Traunstein, Rupolding Inzell, Chiemsee, Königssee, Waging am See. Perfekt für alle möglichen Freizeitaktivitäten. Wie waren zu 100 % zufrieden.

Ruim en goed gelegen. Weliswaar enigszins gedateerde tegels in wc's en badkamers, maar kwaliteit en luxe compenseren dit ruimschoots. Enige puntje van kritiek is de te kleine koelkast met vriesvak als je met meer dan 4 mensen bent.

Fantastischer Kurztrip

Wir hatten Glück, dass wir mit unserer Urlaubswoche gerade so die Mindestanzahl an Nächten erfüllten, denn es gab nicht viele Möglichkeiten insgesamt 8 Leute zusammen schön unterzubringen. Es war die perfekte Wahl und wir hätten es nicht besser treffen können. Auch für einen längerern Aufenthalt wäre das wohl die perfekte Wahl, da man sich sehr gut augehoben fühlt...ein feines Urlaubs-Zuhause.

Eine Woche Erholung

Wir sind mit 7 Personen, davon 4 Erwachsene und 3 Teenager, für eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung gewesen. Wir können nur sagen, einfach perfekt. Der Check in verlief komplett unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Von der Größe her ist es mehr als ausreichend für 7 Personen. Besteck, Gläser, Teller, etc gibt es ebenfalls mehr als genug. Die Lage im schönen Berchtesgadener Land ist sehr schön. Man kann jeden Tag etwas unternehmen und es gibt immer was zu sehen. Kurz auf den Punkt: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können diese Ferienwohnung ruhigen Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Gepflegte saubere Wohnung, in der wir einen schönen Urlaub verbracht haben. Die Nähe zur Autobahn und die Lage zwischen Salzburg, Berchtesgarden und dem Chiemsee eröffnet viele Optionen in einem Radius von 30 Autominuten. Auch die Grenznahen Skigebiete in Österreich sind in ca. 1 Std erreichbar und bieten eine höher gelegene Alternative zu den Tiefergelegenen in Deutschland.

Perfect location for exploring Bavaria

Great property for a family - lots of space and very well maintained and equipped. Easy access to Salzburg, lakes to swim in, mountains to climb, bikes to rent and when you want a relaxing day the local pool is perfect. Would highly recommend this property to any family wanting to explore this part of the world.
