Housekeeping forgot to service our room. The gym is very small (adequate for a workout) but it doesn’t open until 9am which is too late to then get breakfast. The spa and steam were closed. The entrance from the road needs better lighting.

Staff were accommodating in every way and made us feel most welcome. Room was clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with many offerings of eggs, cold meats and cheeses, cereals & yogurts and breads and pastries. Wonderful fresh squeezed orange juice in a tasteful sun drenched room or an outdoor table on the terrace . Very nice public spaces and restaurant, where the food was quite good for an enjoyable dinner. There was bistro service during the day and bar service/bar menu, as well . We didn't take advantage of the pool with the cooler November weather, but outdoor space was inviting. A short drive into Tavira with easy free parking at all hours allowed us to enjoy this beautiful city. Close to Cabanas and easy drives to other towns in the Algarve via the A22. All this for an almost embarrassingly low cost. Well worth it.

My mum and I enjoyed our stay here. I think our most favourite thing was the daily shuttle which either took you to Tavira centre or Cabanas Beach. This was most helpful because we just used a ride hailing service for the other times our schedule didn't align with the shuttle timetable. There was plenty of lounge options out in the sun and indoors too, for times you didn't want to stay up in your room and we got pool towels too. We even played draught one morning, which was great. We each opted for a massage on our last afternoon and I must say that this was a nice ending to not just our stay at the hotel but in Tavira. It was so relaxing and lovely and I would recommend it. There were some tire looking parts to the hotel but as it's going to be under going renovations from November 2025, I have no doubt that those things will be taken care off.

Very comfortable hotel. Excellent breakfast, including cooked if you want it, from 7.30am. Coffee machine and small fridge (mini-bar) in room - no kettle or tea but that seems normal for Portugal. Pool looks good but we didn't use it.

Lovely Hotel, very friendly staff, pool area was lovely and quiet. Bar in the afternoon was very relaxing. Never used the Gym, but small amount of kit was available. Breakfast was cold the first day, but this was corrected the next morning as i believe they had a problem with the hot plate ! We walked to Tavira quite a few times using the road, it took 45 mins and was approx 4km. Though I wouldn’t recommend it in the evening when it begins to get dark!

My overall experience at this hotel was satisfactory, though there were several aspects that left room for improvement. The guest rooms were well-appointed, featuring very comfortable beds and bathrooms that were maintained to an excellent standard of cleanliness. Breakfast was adequate, offering a standard selection. On the less positive side, the pool area was affected by noticeable noise from the main road, which detracted from the atmosphere. Additionally, the in-room coffee machine was supplied with a very limited number of pods, and when I requested milk, I was informed that I needed to obtain it myself. The hotel’s location is somewhat isolated, with few amenities in the surrounding area. Furthermore, the shuttle service was limited in both frequency and capacity, which reduced its convenience. In summary, while the stay was comfortable, these factors would prevent me from choosing this property again in the future.

The hotel service's was brilliant but I will not advise young adults or family with children to come to this hotel because its boring, no lively activities at all but if you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place to hide Ozadi will be the best place.

We stayed at the Ozadi for 10 days. For us, it was the perfect hotel in the perfect location. Not everyone may agree with the latter, since the hotel is not in Tavira itself or not on the beach. It is about mid-day between Tavira and Cabanas. We always hire a car on holiday, so this was a positive point because it gave us full flexibility on where to go. Let's now talk about the hotel itself. It is elegant. Our double room was large, with a balcony, a large bathroom and a large bed. Breakfast allowed plenty of choice. I should comment on the staff: everyone (particularly at reception) was very kind and helpful. The hotel also has a beautiful swimming pool area, a small gym, a sauna, and offers dining options (which, however, we didn't use). We have no hesitation to recommend a stay at the Ozadi.
