The reason we chose the Royal Ashton was that they allow pets (for a fee) The room are clean and have good beds. But this hotel has been very ambitious in cramming as many rooms as possible in an old building!

I use this hotel all the time for my work visits in Taunton, and honestly, its fantastic. The rooms Ive always stayed in are large, clean, comfortable and its in a great location. Both Meg and Emma are amazing, you really couldnt feel more welcomed. Great hotel with great service.

the lady that was at the front desk when we checked in and majority of stay was so lovely and welcoming, it really makes a difference being greeted with kindness like that. the room was nice and cozy, plenty of tea for us to get through! whole experience was perfect

Really friendly staff but my room was shabby with marked, stained and ripped wallpaper. It was located at the front of the property with a lot of late night noise and light from the main road.
