It's a rather nice hotel, good location just outside the old city center which is easily accessed by foot within minutes. Spacious room, clean, good bed, bathroom spacious and working well, a breakfast buffet with a reasonable selection of hot and cold of acceptable quality (did not try everything, of course, but looks say a lot), good bread, bad coffee. Staff made sure the buffet did not run empty even towards the end of the breakfast. All spa and fitness facilities were closed down for renovation causing construction noise that was very audible even on 3rd floor. Staff were forthcoming in making me change to a less noise-ridden room. Fitness facilities were available across the street for about €10. There were a few glitches: The in-room safety box did not work and was not fixed after the staff was notified. No "do not disturb" sign in the room. Wifi was unreliable and did not work for hours. A person got access to a room merely by asking the cleaning staff to let him in. Parking on the hotel parking lot was €16 a day. Fix the glitches (should be easy), offer fitness facilities for free as an apology for the construction inconvenience and lower the parking fee, then it would easily be a "very good" rating from me. But for this experience it can only be "average". Would not come again.
A very clean and new room, great breakfast and good coffee, friendly stuff, and the best location ever - the old town and the modern center - everything near to the hotel, 5 minutes walking, we haven't even used the public transport!
Would recommend. Breakfast was good, plenty of hot and cold options, hot chocolate and juices, and available till 11am every day which was great! Location was excellent, very close to the old town, round the corner from the supermarket and also only ten minutes from a shopping mall and hypermarket (and also ten minutes from the beer shop/the beach!). Right slap bang in the middle of everything basically. Friendly staff, gave us two double rooms at first but quickly sorted that out, then when we left they ordered us a taxi using our preferred taxi company. Our room had seats in the windows which was nice; we could sit and watch the snow fall. On the negative side, quite small rooms for a luxury hotel, my parents didn't even have a coffee machine in theirs despite the room description when we booked saying they would have. In fact I think the only reason my sister and I had one in our room is because we'd been wrongly given two double rooms so we were upgraded to a twin on a different floor. So my parents didn't really get the room they booked. We would have expected more from a 4-star hotel, our rooms were more like 3-star (in fact they weren't as good as the 3-star hotel in Riga we'd just come from). Still good value for the money we paid though.
The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed. Had luxury-hotel touches throughout - remarkable, especially considering the very reasonable rate.(I paid 54 EUR per night.) Perfect location for someone popping in and out on business. You can walk there in less than 10 minutes from the ferry terminal yet the hotel is located just outside the beautiful old town if you fancy venturing there. I also enjoyed dining in the a la carte restaurant, I think it was called. The food was pretty decent and seemed homemade -- and again was very remarkably reasonable price-wise.
The hotel was chosen due to the convenient location, just few meters away from the old city of Tallinn and few minutes away from the city center. The first positive impression since we arrive in the hotel was the warmly welcome from the receptionist. He was so kind and provided all the needed info and he kindly answered all my questions. His spoken English were so fluently. The room was cozy with nice view ,clean and comfortable for us.We were three adults staying in the room and we were all impressed of the quality of the mattresses because it was super good. As a result we enjoyed our sleep much more than we had expected. We tried also some relaxing and massage treatments provided inside the hotel. The staff was so friendly and we were delighted by the the treatments. The prices for the treatments were good. The experience was much more than value for money and the friendly staff was a cheerful point. We will definitely be back in our next visit.
Room was nice size and bathroom too! Felt like it needed a update but was clean. It was good value and loved the massage ladies! We had 4 massages!! Only a 10-15 min walk to old town. Breakfast was general ok but over all a good visit and great value
A Spa weekend. A spa weekend in a Spa hotel with a Spa and a waterpark yay! But the water features offered were closed for renovations. Boo Still, lets do a review anyway. This is on the edge of the Old Town. Close to everything pretty much and a hike up to the views. Breakfast was good and expansive. Riomms were up to the job for a couple of nights. In room tea and Coffee facilities of course and a big fat telly. There were not many people around through - maybe the closure of the water attraction had impacted the visitor levels. Then again , at Midnight, we heard the massed rattling of wheely suitcases coming down the cobbled street as a group of about 100 victims arrived after having just been disgorged from their ferry. The place was still quiet though Freebie passes for 2 hours were handed out for the Spa next door and that is worth going to - it not often you can get to waste time in a Soviet era spa/ pool/sauna complex like this. This hotel is OK really. no glaring downsides, WiFi worked well enough to stream onto a tablet in our room. Tallinn is a tourist trap but the Hotel was straight, modern and efficient. a great place as a base to spend a couple of days.
The room was quite small, but enuff room for one person. Good bed, bath tub and very good location near old town and harbour. Breakfast was tasty and there were many options to choose from. Service okay.
great hotel, good finishes, modern well furnished spacious rooms with safe, minibar, coffee breack, excellent cleanliness, courtesy of the staff and excellent and plentiful European style buffet breakfast, also the location is quiet but very convenient for the The old town center is easily reached on foot and is about 500 meters away
