Our 850sf lakefront cottage is called "Remember When", located at 24224 Lanier St., Tallahassee, FL 32310

Remember when life was simpler during those family get-a-ways to the lake? You can recreate yesteryear when retreating to "Remember When". This traditional lakefront cottage offers stunning views and quiet lakefront living.

You'll love the wood planked walls, wood ceilings, and wood floors, along with the wide open lakefront vistas through the many large windows. A spacious deck off the sun room offers commanding views of the lake. At about 30 feet in elevation above the lake level, you will love spending leisure time here, both day and night!

The large dock has both open and covered areas. The covered areas are great during the summer mid-day heat and during a passing rain shower. Plenty of space for fishing on this 80 foot wide x 45 foot deep dock area!

Two bedrooms and one full bath are located on the main level. There is a downstairs, ground level, "walk out basement" bedroom with lots of extra sleeping space. This downstairs bedroom has it's own covered AND screened-in lanai. A nice place to hang out during the mid day sun or passing rain shower! This particular downstairs space offers privacy and separation for an extra couple or or adult kids.

For the convenience of coming off the dock or lake along with the ground floor bedroom, there is a new outdoor covered and private bathroom that features a hot/cold shower, toilet and sink, each in it's own room. Even a sitting area! This is located at the entrance to the walkout basement bedroom. There is a covered walkway from the downstairs bedroom to the outdoor bathroom in case it rains. You'll love how this new addition enhances lake life and even makes you feel like you're in the mountains!

There are just 3 steps up to the main level front door. The downstairs is located down some exterior stairs at ground level as well. "Remember When" is advantageous for folks that prefer not to navigate lots of stairs.

*We cater to family groups and cannot accept reservations for vacationing students or house parties. We do not rent to students or to groups under 25, even if one or more parents or legally responsible adults accompany them.

$135.00 Cleaning fee which includes clean linens and bath towels.

If you bring your dog, we have a $25.00 pet fee. We simply ask that they'd be well behaved & trained, current on flea/tick meds, non-scratchers on doors/windows/furniture, to keep them off the furniture & beds, (or at least bring some blankets to throw over the new Lovesac COUCH. Please pick up after them in the yard and neighborhood. Due to the fact that your pet is not familiar with his/her surroundings at the house, PLEASE bring a kennel in case you plan to leave him/her alone so that your dog does not scratch our door and door frame. Lastly, please keep your doggies from barking so as to not disturb the neighbors.

In the event that you need to cancel, we provide a full refund 60 days or more prior to arrival. Within 60 days there is no refund. Trip cancellation/interruption insurance is strongly recommended because you never know what unexpected life event can occur.

Up to a $300 damage option will be automatically charged to your credit card within 14 days of check out if any damage occurs.

BOAT INFO:
A boat slip is available for your boat with advance notice. PLEASE let us know so that we free up the slip & lift. A Leon County maintained cement boat ramp, (Blount Road Boat Ramp), with 2 floating docks is located nearby.

Our available covered boat slip is 8 1/2 feet wide with the lift at 8' 1" wide. The water depth is 2' deep. The boat lift board is 1' tall so therefore when the boat lift is lowered to the lake bottom you must not have a draft of more than 1'. The available covered boat slip and lift are not designed for large boats. A boat up to around 20' long or less is best. The new slip, which is without an electric lift and cover, is good for larger boats and pontoons. Let us know which one you need. LASTLY, the electric lift has a lever for Up & Down. STOP the lever when the lift is at your desired height or depth. Leaving it unattended will burn up the $600.00 motor. Do not raise the lift higher than a few inches above the water line and STOP the lift when it hits the lake bottom which is a depth of 2 feet. This will prevent the cable from UNRAVELING.
