Looking for a safe hotel to stay one night while driving with son and his car back to Texas. Needed something in or near Bakersfield. The reviews said the hotel was very safe. It is safe because no one can find it.
I was happy to find this great small hotel on a recent 4 night visit to Taft. The management could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. The room seemed to be freshly painted and the bed linens appeared to be very new. The location was convenient and safe with plenty of off street parking.
Even though it is an older building, the outside & inside rooms are nicely refurbished. Beds are very comfortable. We could have used a light block from bathroom sink to bed area, while one person uses sink, the light shines on other person in bed trying to sleep. That was only thing that could be better. Very friendly staff.
