Could have been better. Lovely staff though.

I booked 1 room through booking (dot Com) cheaper. Room was fantastic. The room through ‘hotels’ was not brilliant condition and some uncomfortable looking headboard stains. For the price I would have expected better. Hard to get too with road closures, basic amenities but lovely food in pub. Bfast was awesome but very very slow and came out at different times.

A great pub. Really lovely staff. Very quiet. Our onlly complaint would be that the toilet cistern was running all the time in our room. This had been mentioned in the guests feedback book but was still not sorted. What a waste of water.

Staff were very friendly. On arrival we were shown to our room which was clean warm and comfortable. Stayed two nights as was due to visit Highclere Castle the following day. They also serve food which was ideal. This is a lovely rural pub with lots of character log fire oak beams etc would definitely recommend.
