Absolutely Perfect – Best VRBO We’ve Ever Stayed In!We can’t say enough great things about this charming renovated cottage! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The home was immaculately clean—every corner sparkled, and it felt so fresh and inviting. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with utensils, cookware, and everything we needed to prepare meals, which is often rare in a vacation rental. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the quality linens and pillows made for a fantastic night’s sleep. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to UPS and the Proctor District, with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops all nearby. It was the perfect base for exploring the area while still feeling tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The furnishings were not only beautiful but clearly chosen with care—stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully appointed throughout the home. Every detail felt intentional and elevated the whole experience. What truly made this stay stand out, though, was the outstanding communication with the owner. They were responsive, helpful, and clearly committed to ensuring we had a great experience.By far the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. We’d give it more than five stars if we could!

I traveled to Tacoma to visit my adult son. I was by myself for 2 week, then my husband and younger son joined me for the last week. The house is absolutely charming. Large clean kitchen, which was wonderful because I did a lot of cooking. TV was easy to use, living room furniture was very comfortable. Two roomy bedrooms with large beds. Fans in each of the closets -- houses in Tacoma rarely have AC, so the fans were very useful on the couple of warm days. Very clean basement with washer and drier. It was extremely easy to communicate with Jenny - she was quick to respond to any question I had and when I ran short of something she was quick to supply it. The neighborhood is very walkable -- I walked north to the grocery stores to keep supplied, to the library to do work, and to the post office when I needed stamps. Everything I mentioned is in the Proctor neighborhood, approx. 1/2 mile away. There are also restaurants approx. 3/4 mile south. I did not have a car with me, so the bus stop one block west of the house was very convenient. Nothing is perfect, so here are a few of the minor tweaks: The toilet paper holder was not fond of staying up, but I just kept the roll of TP on the back of the toilet. Some cooking & baking supplies were very worn and would be better replaced. I had a hard time sleeping on the mattresses, but the rest of my family had no issues. In summary - 10/10, and I would love to stay here again next time I'm in Tacoma!

Quiet neighborhood
I can't say enough good things about this rental. Jenny was a gem to work with and very reaponsive to messages. The home is in a quiet family neighborhood and we always felt safe. The kitchen has been remodeled and had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. 10 out of 10!

This is one of the nicest places we’ve rented. Everything was just as described or better. If you are needing access to University of Puget Sound it is so close! Checking in was easy and checking out was the least complicated ever. Jenny was quick to respond when communicating with her. We highly recommend this house.
