Excellent place for families staying in Syros. Amazing location, right on the beach, fantastic views, lovely pool, plenty of loungers and a decent enough amount of eateries. One good bar on the corner for a game of pool at the end of the evening too!!

It is the perfect family holiday place . Location next to the beach, great facilities, breakfast and choice if lunch / dinner at good value for money. Staff are very friendly and informative, nothing is too much for them. Overall one of the best holidays ever, and off course the island and the town can satisfy the most demanding visitors. Most beautiful hotel location

The best choice in the area of Galissas with an excellent stay. Sonia at the front Desk is the most accommodating staff that gives the best advice and ideas for the island! The hotel is located just under the beautiful chapel of Saint Paikou from where you can see the wonderful sunset and two most beautiful beaches of the island. Would definitely go back and recommend it to any type of traveller.

Fantastic family holiday

Fantastic position on the side of the bay with amazing views and really well designed for family holidays. Loved being among so many Greek families on holiday. Only a handful of English people staying. The pool was great - really deep and big - and steps from the sea. The staff could not have been more helpful. We were selling/buying a house in the UK during our stay and the staff helped us with printing out, witnessing and sending legal documents. Sunset was beautiful - great light.

Great family choice

Hotel was clean and nicely laid out. Great pool and right on the beach. The only downfall was itā€™s on the other side of the island from the main town which is great for food and nightlife.

Nice hotel close to beach with large swimming pool

We have gone to Syros for many years and love it. This year decided to stay at the Dolphin Bay Hotel. Our expectations were perhaps too high due to the price but I would say it was just ok. The plus point was the beds were very comfortable with lots of extra pillows if required. The kids enjoyed the large swimming pool and free sunbeds.

Perfect for families with children

The staff at the hotel were really helpful and friendly and assisted us with any queries really quickly. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect for those with children as there is a large pool with a slide, a permanent lifeguard who supervises really well and a fabulous sandy and clean beach next to this with a shallow bay which stretches out for 100s of metres. It is really easy to get around the island by bus or taxi and the buses are on time and efficient - it takes 20 mins to reach Ermopoulis the main town or Kini where there is a lovely beach and waterside restaurants. The children enjoyed watching films in the evening (even though they were in Greek), these were shown on a pull-down screen in the hotel bar/lobby and could play table tennis and cards etc in the lobby as well as computer game if they wanted to. The buffet was very busy, food quite basic but fine and wine, beer and soft drinks provided free of charge with the buffet. We want to go back as we had a fantastic holiday. The children could have free ice-cream and cocktail by the pool all day which went down extremely well!

Our Dolphin Bay stay

I had not been to this hotel before, had dome apprehension, and much to my surprise it was sheer delight on all levels!! The kids absolutely loved the pool & water slide, children's movies, supervised play area and endless complimentary ice cream scoops!! Beautiful beach located alongside the hotel, plentiful breakfast variety included, and the option to include lunch and/or dinner as well. Sea view restaurant well and nightly live music entertainment by the pool bar. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, the hotel premises very well kept, and view yo gorgeous sunsets from the up the hill chapel!! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely return!! I really have not one negative thing to say about this hotel!
