Great hotel, service , staff rooms even the basic one is second to none. Pool is really lovely. Easy walk to see the harbour bridge and the opera house. Really wish we could always stay in a place like this. .

We arrive to the Langham tired from the 15 hour flight from LAX. The room was not ready but the front desk did very good by getting it as fast as possible. The property is between a boutique and a mid size hotel. The attention to detail is remarkable. The rooms are not large and for our taste the round table takes too much space limiting the mobility around it. The bathtub/shower is not for persons with limited mobility and it's not simple to get in/out of it even for regular people. The location is exceptional because is close to everything but apart from everything which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Being close to Barangaroo park offers you the possibility of an excellent morning walk with incredible views and unforgettable memories. The breakfast which is included is extremely good and well provided for. There is something remarkable at this hotel: the Concierge. Not since the Four Seasons Buenos Aires have we seen such a diligently and knowledgeable concierge desk. Ready to solve the most minimal request and ultra well prepared for everything. Kudos for them. Definitively an hotel to come back and to enjoy while in Sydney.

My husband and I escaped to The Langham to recharge and enjoy a 'staycation' in our own home town of Sydney. The Langham never disappoints... it is always a pure delight and a luxury escape with exceptional service. My only request - to be able to stay longer!

My wife and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary and were looking for a really special hotel to do so. We chose the Langham in Sydney and had a wonderful weekend. Our room was beautifully presented, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel's location is fantastic as well - an easy walk to some great restaurants, the Rocks, Circular Quay and the CBD - but it is in a quieter part of the city. Staff were great - very friendly and helpful. We had a great weekend and will certainly head back to the Langham again!

On a romantic one night stay away from he kids my wife and I had an amazing experience here. The hotel has every fine detail to perfection, like the in the days when the little details mattered without cutting corners to turn a greater profit . The staff are so good at their jobs , helpful and knowledgeable , all very professional always smiling and there to help. The room was the standard room but nothing was " standard" , still had a huge king size bed. The pool and spa to die for . The bar and again the staff ( Lloyd) a true gentleman. Breakfast buffet fantastic. If you want to spoil your loved one or yourself, the Langham Sydney .

Stayed there for holiday with the family. It was the best choice we could have made. Great location, excellent facilities, and service was second to none. The hotel has a very well equipped gym, a very nice pool and spa. The room was spacious and comfortable. But the best was the service. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Recommended hotel.

Beautiful hotel with great location and views. Service with poise and amazing food. Business or leisure you will love staying here. They have a great indoor pool if you wish to unwind and relax. I will definitely be back soon.

The Langham Hotel was selected for a prolonged stay for a number of business associates. All those that stayed had different requirements at different stages of our stay. I can say that this hotel went out of its way to accommodate each and every person who stayed during our time there. All staff were of a level of professionalism that not only would you expect but Im happy to say, exhibited at all times. The Hotel has had a major renovation from its days as the Observatory and has brought it into the 21 century. Yes, its not the cheapest nor is it the most expensive stay in Sydney, however as a small intermit 5 star hotel in a great location, this is the place for you.

Located in the famous “Rocks” Neighborhood, (but uphill walk of 15 minutes - slow - from the Circular Quay area) the location could not be better. The customer service is the envy of hospitality establishments and cruise ships around the world. But the customer is paying premium price for it! We could afford staying in a balcony suite for 3 nights, but could not (out of principle) justify paying $45.00 per person for breakfast. No problem, we just walked 2 blocks and ate the best breakfast at a real local “joint” in the middle of the business and banking area. The location of the hotel is off the beaten tourist path by a 10 or 15 minute walk from Circular Quay, or in the other direction, 15 minute walk to get you near Darling Harbor, or going out the hotel and turning right, 15 or 20 minutes will get you pretty close to the main elite shopping stores and malls, big banks, big construction projects. If you end up having enough walking exploration, a taxi ride back from any of these areas should not be more more than 10-15 Australian dollars. Leaving Sydney, from the Langham Hotel our taxi was Australian 85.00 in Tuesday morning around 9:00 am. However, the traffic going into the city was bumper to bumper, so we left at a great time. Different times of the day to the airport could be very differently priced. By the way, I rarely give a “5” on trip advisor, but the Langham deserves it.

First stay at the Langham in Sydney. Perfect place from which to access Sydney - at the Rocks. Easy walking distance to Circualr Quay/trains/downtown. Outstanding service from uniformly genuinely friendly helpful staff. Gorgeous room, with a massive incredibly comfortable bed! Perfect pillows ( they have a pillow menu!) . Nothing any trouble. Absolutely loved everything about this hotel. Not cheap, but worth it if you want to get spoiled and enjoy some luxury! Would definitely stay again and highly recomend the Sydney Langham.
