The location is great and the hosts are welcoming and very helpful. However several aspects let the property down badly, in particular the state of the carpet, the floor mats, the entry stairs, the apartment's walls and some of the furniture. The carpet and mats need to be professionally cleaned, the same for the entry stairs; there are many, many scuff marks on the walls that need to be removed. There are stains on the curtains, tablecloth and cushion covers. The loungeroom sofa is in very poor condition with sagging seating that can't be hidden by the loose fabric used to cover it. In the kitchen, chipped plates and worn-out saucepans give the impression that it has been furnished with cast-offs and the attitude that "any old thing will do". Also, the large windows in the kitchen that have no blinds or covering really do need something because of the heat they allow.

Spacious Apartment, Beautiful Location
We had a wonderful stay. Communication was excellent, we had room to spread out and the view from the balcony was gorgeous. Restaurants, coffee shops and a grocery store are a block away.
