The room was clean and I recommended it to others. We were in town to pick up our new puppy. I told the front desk that we had no animals but were picking up the pup the next morning and head home. While loading up our luggage, someone came in to clean a room on the first floor and saw my husband holding the puppy and said "You were not supposed to have the dog in your room!!"...which we didn't. We had just met the breeder in the parking lot...AND had just told her how nice it was and that they were pet friendly but there was a fee. She was going to tell others that came to get pups from her about the hotel...but after the man barked at my husband, I'm not sure she will. The staff just need to approach things a little nicer...it could cost them business when they are confrontational : (

Room was ok large amounts of dirt and dust in the heating unit causing room to smell bad. Check in went wrong from the start owner could not find all my information from my on line purchase and was very upset acting like I was trying to pull one over on him that we had made a purchase or not. Went as far to tell me there would be trouble if another person showed up with same check in number. Not sure what that meant but at that point didn’t care what that meant! All and all make sure you have all your info right if you are going to stay here.

Older facility with outside doorways. Bed was comfortable, room was clean. HVAC worked well. Convenient to Interstate, quiet neighbors. No coffee-maker in room. Breakfast was a choice of Little Debbie oatmeal creme pies or honey buns, instant coffee and apple or orange juice.

Definitely a bargain—but no frills. Great place to stay if stopping through. Not too far from historic downtown, which is adorable. Check out the Sweetwater Creamery and General Store next door. Loved them!
