Just came back from a 2 night stay at Kingston South ,what amazing staff this hotel has . The restaurant staff in Jack's Kitchen (Binam & Luke ) treated us like a V.I.P couple they couldn't do enough to make our stay so pleasureable .Looking forward to going again soon .The Hotel should be proud of having such wonderful restaurant staff .In all the Holiday Inn stays we have done over the years they were the best restaurant staff we have come across
We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner twice. The breakfast was buffet style as is usual with Holiday Inns. However, the dinner was exceptional. The food was excellent and we were well looked after on both occasions. The first night we arrived late but we're still welcomed and served as if we were VIP guests. The second night we had different servers and Luke was especially attentive to our needs. We had a wonderful experience.
This is the best holiday inn I have ever been to. The hotel looks like a Hilton , very high standard . Excellent location, perfect customer services. Parking is slightly 2 min walk but free Free wifi Good flashy bar, good food. Thank you holiday inn for a good stay!
If you're looking for somewhere to host an event, look no further. Fabulous and faultless service from Monica and the rest of the team. Excellent communication, accommodating staff and there seemed to be a real sense of everyone wanting to help us give our students the best prom possible. Wouldn't hesitate in booking again next year! Thank you all.
Stayed at the executive suites the price you pay is not what you get and the service isn't that great either. The room looked double nothing amazing. The only great thing is the location but I wouldn't be coming back any time soon nor recommend a friend.
Just stayed some nights with my wife in order to visit the Chelsea Flower Show and Kew Gardens. Last night at 22:00 hrs, the window frames and lights literally began to vibrate due to the bass drums of a party at grond level. Reported this twice to the front desk but to no avail. The racket lasted untill 01:00 hrs. Looking at previous reviews, this seems to be a fairly regular occurence, and clearly the management doesn't seem to be bothered at all, nor inspired to solve the issue. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place at all cost if the intention is to get some sleep. J. Risseeuw, The Netherlands
Second time I've stayed here and it's everything you'd want clean, decent buffet style breakfast with the facilities you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. It's a10 minute walk from Surbiton train station or a short taxi ride. Also Surbiton is in Zone 6 so you can use your Oyster Card to get into central London.
I first stayed here just after it opened about 9 years ago and I am pleased to say the interior still looks good, with the extensive use of the green colour chart giving a relaxed ambiance. Rooms at the front of the hotel overlook the river Thames and some have balconies with 2 chairs and a small table - perfect for warmer days. I loved the compact but well designed bathroom and the voile nets at the window were a luxurious touch. There is a multi-story car park at the rear of the hotel which takes a couple of minutes to walk to, and there is disabled parking at the front of hotel. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the staff are friendly and attentive. The receptionist was very helpful and efficient.
A very modern HI with friendly staff. I often moan about breakfasts at HI, but here the staff were friendly and efficient with my coffee arriving straight away. The food selection needed topping up in the pastries, but it was Sunday, and we were late to breakfast which is probably why. The reception greeting was excellent and helpful, and our room design quite dark but had everything we needed. I gather there is a refurbishment going on from the top down with a new look. Overall for a convenient one night stay, excellent, and I suspect it would be good if you were leaving from Heathrow.
Excellent hotel ... Staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were top notch ... We stayed in the executive suite overlooking the river, stunning views, great location close to Kingston town and fantastic restaurant, strongly suggest you don't go Jamie Oliver's restaurant ... I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for its appauling food but plenty if great pubs & restaurants to choose from eg CAU ... Great steak pub on the river ... We went Jamie's but was disappointed. Hotel very clean, comes highly recommended
