Liked seclusion and surroundings and view. Cottage was well designed. Breakfast was delicious. No dislikes but some insect screens needed repairs. Probably holes made by scrub turkeys.

Just perfect

The cabin was perfectly sized... Big llounge, bathroom... Bedroom area and all facing a fantastic view of the ocean.. The deck was exquisite, with timber table and chairs plus a very easy to use Webber BBQ. The cabin was equipped with toaster, kettle, microwave, electric cooker and included was breakfast. Our days started with coffee made on the pod perculator. The bathroom was well equipped a large shower and a spa bath also looking over the valley. This was by far the best cabin we have ever stayed in no recommend it to anyone wanted a luxury getaway

Beautiful, private, romantic escape

We loved our weekend in cabin number 3! The view was spectacular, the cabin beautiful and we had such a lovely relaxing time. We were very impressed at how private the cabin was, and the location was still pretty handy to town. We hardly saw any staff but spoke on the phone to the owner who had our room ready and waiting for us when we arrived and a cleaner who popped in to give us fresh towels and our breakfast for the next morning which was delicious! All in all a wonderful experience that we will always remember!

Our engagement getaway!

Our stay at Ocean View Cottages in Montville was incredible! ...We're engaged! Family of ours are already planning their trip from seeing our photos and hearing our stories! Sunrise from the deck is worth getting up for in the morning and I highly recommend bringing some nibbles (or buying locally) to really enjoy the deck each afternoon with a glass of wine, or beer. Lying in the bath, waking up in a comfortable bed alongside relaxing each day just makes the tree house all that more magical. It's a short 5 minute drive to the centre of Montville and the breakfast included to cook yourself is such a lovely touch! The room is full of everything you would need. We really wish we could have stayed longer!! Thank you! We will be back :)

Great escape

Excellent accommodation and great views - a tip would be to take some provisions for dinner or utilise the dinner packs you can pre-order for dinner through the accommodation as you have a little weber on Balcony. As a little isolated in access to Restaurants etc PS Don't plan to get a courtesy bus to Wild Rocket restaurant as they wont pick you up (apart from me confirming it with them twice). I think however you can get to Palmwoods hotel. If you have a designated driver all good. The breakfast packs provided were excellent and was lovely outlook cooking brekky on the deck. We had a very special tour guide when we did the rainforest walk ...his name was Jack the owners dog - he was amazing.

A blissful spot to disconnect from the world.

Cabins were immaculate and very well maintained. Extremely well appointed and the attention to detail was outstanding. Loved the sense of space and design of the cabin. It really captured the beautiful surroundings through each window. Hosts were really helpful and made the check in/out process really smooth. Would recommend to any friend or family!

What a spectacular place!! Absolutely beautiful and stunning! Even though it rained the first 2 days, it was still so amazing! We will definitely return! The staff were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed.

Private and beautifully appointed

No fuss check in, totally private cottage in the trees, with fantastic views from the lounge, deck, bed and spa bath. Absolute peace and quiet, no interruptions from the owners. Couldn't see other guests, buildings or cars. A total sea-change for a battery re-charge.
