Sunriver Resort is the complete package. From the friendly and helpful staff to the many fabulous amenities...a spa, fitness center, golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, restaurants, access to a great trail system...all within walking distance of Sun River Village, home to restaurants and shops. The only downside is that I could only stay for a weekend!
We loved the Sunriver Resort. We rented a raft and floated the river and enjoyed the village and pools.
Appears well suited for families. Good golf, biking, hiking and fun stuff for the kids.
We and our friend had booked 2 lofts during New Year Day. We have good experience at Sunriver Resort, and we really enjoy the beautiful winter landscape nearby. We like the open interior layout of the lofts we stayed, however, some facility of our friends' loft didn't work well, and there's no oven inside the lofts' kitchens...Another problem was, after we were back from Ski, we found the routine house cleaning work wasn't completely finished in one of our units... other than these problems, it's a nice resort.
Friendly, professional staff, stunning mountain meadow views, superb Mountain construction, every amenity, quiet, yet very family friendly!
Nothing was clean. All flat surfaces (tables, counters, etc.) were filthy. Never wiped or cleaned during our 5-day stay. Room was never vacuumed, bath tub & toilet were never cleaned. King - size sheets were used on double beds. Bed mattress was dirty. Cigarette butts were found on our deck after housekeeping had left (a non-smoking room). Brought these concerns to the manager. Next time we had housekeeping in our room they just brought fresh towels, no cleaning supplies or vacuum. Clearly our complaints had NO impact. WOULD NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN
Top of the line place to stay and have great fun! Have a few very minor views of room check-in and a necessary room feature. Wonderful coffee make and refrigerator! Room could use a Microwave. Missed my opportunity for fresh popcorn and maybe a reheat of my dinner. This small feature would make a difference. I bet a few others have said something about this small improvement. Room check-in was not available until 4:30. Even then it was by special request from myself.
