What is delightful experience! Louda and her son were the perfect hosts! I loved the ambiance of this delightful little hotel! The balcony of our room, which overlooked the piazza was a bonus. I had a little bit of trouble finding the hotel, since we were walking from the train station, but it was worth the extra time! It had been my dream to see Lago Maggiore for many decades, and my visit remains prominent in my memories. My hug from Lauda at departure will stay in my heart forever!

Older hotel with much charm in excellent location. Fantastic breakfast. Owner went out of her way to make us comfortable. For example, she packed us a special breakfast on our last day when we had to leave early. Room was very plain, but clean. The important things such as shower pressure and temperature were all very good.

Great hotel!

Really lovely place - very flexible and accommodating. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Lovely dated decor and right next to everything. We missed breakfast but they offered us coffee and a croissant on the house. We appreciated this kind touch, as we were quite hungover! All the staff were friendly and lovely. Grazie Mille!

Lovely little traditional Italian hotel right in the heart of Stresa. On the main square in a pedestrian area - owners are onsite and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and coffee fabulous also had a good bar with a terrace on the square - lovely for a coffee, beer or cocktail. Beds very comfortable and very nice sheets and towels. No air con but good ceiling fans in the rooms and serviced daily. I had a room overlooking the square and it was lovely sitting in the evening or watching the sunset. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Great location to explore lots of other places on the lake as boat departures only a couple of minutes walk away.
