Welcome to Changes in Altitude! This expansive family cabin sits nestled in the serene beauty of Strawberry, conveniently located near Pinecrest Lake and Dodge Ridge Mountain Resort. Step inside to discover an inviting open-concept kitchen and living room area, complete with a warm wood-burning stove, perfect for gathering around after a day of adventure. The main level hosts three comfortable bedrooms and two full bathrooms, ensuring ample space and privacy for all. Venture downstairs to uncover another bedroom with its full bathroom, alongside a multipurpose room with additional sleeping accommodations provided by a bunk bed, so everyone can relax in comfort. Here, the family can indulge in a variety of activities, from friendly games of pool and poker to cozying up by the fireplace or catching a movie on the TV. Outside, soak in the tranquility of the surroundings of the deck or in the backyard, where the soothing sounds of the nearby river create the perfect relaxation and outdoor enjoyment.

Large cabin close to Strawberry river and Pinecrest

This cabin is large and easily accommodated our family. We enjoyed the game room, however stairs are steep. Also based on the description we thought the game room and master bedroom would be on the main level, but it’s actually downstairs. It is within walking distance to the strawberry river (about 1/2 mile). Loved that we were able to bring our small dogs with us. The property could use some updating, but we enjoyed our stay!

Change of Venue

Originally we were staying at Change of Attitude in Pinecrest. However, due to problems with the property we got moved to Twain Harte. The house was great and accommodating all our needs. The only issues were the neighbor’s dog got in the house, found dirty silverware in the drawer. Although not the area we wanted it worked out great.
