The property was beautiful. Well maintained and a nice place to walk around. The room was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. We were a little disappointed with the view from our room because when we booked it, the description said it was a “Mountain View” and showed a picture as if we had a slope side view. Our actual view was of the road and parking lot. We were on the ground floor so when we sat on our balcony, a tree was right up against our railing, leaving us with no view at all. We were also misled with another picture that showed an outdoor swimming area, which was actually a jacuzzi (not a pool) that was out of order. We would definitely stay here again, the staff was courteous, friendly and very helpful. The room was well decorated and very comfortable. We just felt misled by the photos we saw before booking.

We spend every 4th of July at the Long Trail House. The rooms are great view is better, Firework show is the best.

I recently stayed at Long Trail House with my wife and 9 year old son and whilst the location was excellent, the apartment was not that great and definitely not worth the money I paid for it over Christmas. I understand the rooms are individually owned and probably all different, but my advice would be to make sure you stay clear of room 153 if your planning on using the sofa bed, which was extremely uncomfortable and to be honest pretty much unusable - my son did not have a good night sleep and trying it out for one night, I can understand why - I think the mattress is so old, far too thin or the bed is just bent and broken - not sure. I did report this so hopefully it will be looked at - it needs to be. The blinds were also broken, the fireplace did not work (despite 2 maintenance visits) and the décor generally pretty old. Can't beat the location though, being 5 minutes walk from the lifts. I would go back, but would insist I did not stay in this room again or splash out on a 2 bedroom room.

the 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was very cozy and lovely. so close to the lift! perfect location and super comfortable for 2 couples. i would stay here again!!

Dear Guest, Sorry your view was not to your liking, but please next time you come, the Long Trail have a beautiful outdoor pool and hot tub area in front of the North tower first floor. We are sorry you missed it. Glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay.
