Parking was available on site, very convenient. Bathroom was clean and spacious, lots of storage, seemed like it was newly renovated. Carpet looked a little dirty and a musty smell, portable closet but face of the doors peeling/falling apart. Had a little kitchenette with fridge and microwave, didn't use. Box spring soiled around the sides. visible due to bed spread didn't cover the sides. Reception very friendly and followed up on requests in a timely manner (tv/cable issues). Booked two nights separately asked if we could stay in the same room but is ok if we can't, they accommodated us in the same room; however, we were charged an extra 5.00. Didn't mind paying the 5.00 but thought they could not have charged us, in the spirit of customer service/potential returning customer. The surroundings needed a little more lightening, sort of dark. Overall I would rate it as a 5.5.

Return to room after long day of hockey around midnight and the heater wasn’t working E-7 it said Didn’t want to wake people just bundled up and went to sleep . Advised them in the morning and they said oh sorry that’s all .

Parking is right outside your room. A&W is right beside so easy food. While the outside looks...iffy...the room was immaculate and comfortable, free wifi, Roku TV and spacious washroom. The queen size bed was a dream to sleep in. Nice bonus of minifridge, microwave and coffee maker.

The motel is older and could maybe use a bit of paint but inside the room was renovated and very clean with good AC, microwave fridge and tv. The owner and staff were very helpful and nice. Check in and out very easy. A very short drive to downtown and a short walk to the mall and other stores and restaurants. Haven't stayed in a motel for years and forgot how nice it is to have windows that open front and back and in the bathroom. Paid a fortune for a room and parking on previous visits to Stratford so I'm very happy to have found something affordable with free parking.

Stay elsewhere if possible!

Everything else was booked in the City or was a lot of money. It was a place to sleep and the air conditioning worked. The smell of the room deodorizer/cleaner was overwhelming and the carpets were suspect. The beds were small and uncomfortable. Try to book elsewhere in advance. I certainly will in the future.
