The Petite France area of Strasbourg is like a pop up story book, step around each corner and another incredible view unfolds. The center-fold for us was our two nights at the Regent Petite France. Our room was in the timber- framed building across from the main hotel that was part of the old 16th and 17th century tannery area. Inside are modern, very comfortable rooms, beautifully decorated. Our king size bed was outstanding and the rain shower marvelous. The AC was very welcome on a hot day. The river and bridge views added to the splendid ambience. We enjoyed drinks in the main building where there is an elegant indoor lounge and great outdoor patio on the river. The Sinatra music in the background gave it the right touch of style! All our staff encounters were outstanding and the location is just a ten minute walk to the Cathedral. I’ll bet no one does it in ten, there are so many interesting places to see along the way.
Excellent staff very helpful. The rooms were of a good size, good quality beds. I did not use the breakfast service. They have an outside are on the river, for afternoon evening drinks. Parking is available. Excellent location
Great location with wonderfully attentive front office staff. Concierge very helpful. Spa is great and it seems as if this facility is under utilized, really worth a visit. The bar service not up to the standard of the rest of the service, the barman not welcoming and inattentive. The restaurant staff at dinner and breakfast was really great. Overall a great experience at a wonderful location.
We stayed here as part of a European road trip to celebrate our honeymoon. We were allocated a room in the building diagonally opposite the hotel which was a bit annoying but it was very modern and they kindly put rose petals on the bed and gave us a bottle of wine to celebrate our special occasion. We did not realize that you have to pay extra for the spa so decided not to use it. The food was good. Unfortunately it was rather noisy on the street below the night we stayed so did not get a great night's sleep. The hotel is well located if you can find it! It looks like you cannot go over the bridge but you can and this is where you will find the hotel.
The hotel is great. Position very close to the center and to a parking area. Our room was just above the river and we could also see it from our window, which turned to be kind of magic. Room clean and large enough to have a good and relaxing staying. Personnel very professional, kind and available. The SPA was also very nice, even if a little bit small, which anyhow wasn't a problem because not many people were there. We would like to come back.
Stayed overnight at the hotel and enjoyed it, the rooms are beautiful, with very large and comfortable beds, good view & friendly staffs! The location of the hotel is fantastic, hotel just build over the canal and easy access to the shops, restaurants…. Breakfast was delicious, and also included a hot selection.
We stayed for one night and were very happy with our room and staff. The bathroom had two sinks which was practical. Hotel’s location is perfect as well - it takes only a few minutes to walk to the city centre.
I stayed there for only 2 nights, I loved the hotel, I could find all I expected from a 5 star hotel, it's beautiful, very clean, well thought, the team is available and helpful, the location is great, the food is something from another world. I can't wait to return to Strasbourg so I can spend a night there. Thank you so much to all the team.
We had one night in Strasbourg, almost by accident, and I'm so happy we found the Hotel Regent Petite-France. It is a charming hotel, extremely comfortable, and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. From the valet, to the check-in desk, to the bell service, they were all polite, friendly, and helpful. Our room had a gorgeous view looking out toward a canal, and it was so soothing just to watch twilight on the water. It is an easy walk into the main district near the cathedral, with so many cool little shops and places to eat. It felt a little like being in a movie. So quintessentially French; just perfect. We were sorry to only spend a night, and would definitely like to visit Strasbourg and the hotel again. It is a bit tricky to find the hotel, especially if you are used to driving in the U.S. In the last half-kilometer before the hotel, you will think you are breaking the law by driving on the pedestrian walkway, but you aren't. Just follow the signs, drive slowly, and be alert for pedestrians, pets and cyclists. Don't freak out, you are almost there.
I booked the Regent Petite France as a treat as we were visiting Strasbourg for my birthday. I work in a 5 star hotel in Ireland and was not expecting the same level of standards in France purely from past experiences. I am pleased to say I was wrong. This hotel is a 5 star property. The staff are helpful, the rooms are laid out with every amenity you could need and the public areas are beautifully decorated to a luxury boutique standard. The hotel was also kind enough to leave me a bottle of wine for my birthday- thank you so much! It was just perfect.
