This hotel was ok. Pretty much a standard room made into a family room with a double sofa bed. Breakfast was ok. Continental style with mini sausages and boiled eggs. The room was clean, the bathroom had just a shower but not as clean as I would like as mouldy on the ceiling of the bathroom. The hotel is quite a way from the city although it is near the motorway so easy to access but you do need a car to travel to the city if you want to. I wouldn't stay here again if I were to be in this part of the world again.
we stayed for 2 nights. the hotel is located right beside the highway and is a 10 minute drive away from the city center. Rooms were basic and the breakfast is continental. all good but then again all average.
We arrived at the hotel to be checked in by the friendly and efficient Mirela. Our room was fine for our family of 4 staying overnight. The air con works perfectly and so did the fast, free wifi. We appreciated the refreshing pool - it wasn't huge but perfect to cool off during the recent very hot spell. As there is no restaurant on site, we wen to the nearby McDonalds - quick and easy, just what we needed during our quick overnight stop. There Breakfast was plentiful and more than enough choices for us all. Overall, a good place to stay.
Just spent 10 fantastic nights at this hotel. We arrived Saturday 29th July 2017 and was greeted by a very pleasant man on reception. The room was spotlessly clean and the air conditioning was very welcome as it was really hot for the whole time we were there. The buffet breakfast every morning was first class with a good variety of food, which was constantly being topped up. The staff in the hotel were really nice, always smiling and cheerful. The cleaning staff were always working and never seemed to stop. I would definitely recommend this hotel. My family and I will definitely go back
Stayed here for a couple of nights as a stop over. The room was clean the staff were very helpful. There was parking outside along the street. We would definitely return here if we were to visit the area again.
This hotel is a clean and functional place that serves the purpose of an overnight stopover whilst on a long journey. The room was big enough for a family of 4 and the bed comfortable, the shower was lovely. The staff seemed pleasant enough too. The breakfast was a little disappointing as it was continental only. However there were still options that everyone liked. The pool, although small, offered a welcome relief after being in the car all day. There's no restaurant for an evening meal on site. All in its fine for overnight but nothing special.
We stayed there in June as part of a group of dancers in Team England attending the Dance World cup in OFFENBURG. The whole stay marred what should have been a great experience for our kids. From the moment we got there you could see that they were in no way prepared for large groups. But you could forgive a hotel for lack of preparation if the staff are pleasant and helpful. Bar one or two members of staff the rest were just awful. Rude and dismissive of us and extremely rude to our children. One evening the deputy manager followed our girls up to the rooms and stood in the corridor. He was particularly rude and disrespectful as was another worker who cursed, cussed, rolled her eyes and just flared at us. There were lots of other teams there from the UK and pretty much everyone got this treatment. We also had people just walking into our rooms without knocking or checking . They ran out of all drinks in about 3 days and nothing was stocked up. We asked for water and were told they didn't have any but other French guests were sold this. There was no food so we had to order takeaways which we ate outside and cleared up everything. Even so we were moaned at for having stuff on the tables. The very rude worker stated that clearing tables is not her job. It was a disgrace. Us and the kids felt intimidated, disrespected and had he'll during the 9 days there. What topped it off was on our last full day, my husband rang me from the UK to say that the Holiday Inn, Germany had tried to take £1003.00 from my credit card at 5.38 am. We had not checked out. I hadn't authorised a payment being taken out and luckily the bank stopped the payment and cancelled my credit card. This resulted in such upset and inconvenience as I then had to find the cash to pay for the hotel when we did actually check out. I approached the hotel "management" who almost accused me of lying and just kept tlrepeating that it's impossible no one could do this, without even looking into it. I was made to feel really awful. I explained that a credit card fraud squad do not like lie and I have proof as they text my husband. They would not even speak to the worker who was in that night. I have contacted IHG group who said some one wotld look into this. However, it's most probably handed back to the hotel "management" who would not deal with this and our other concerns in the first place. We have never received an apology or an acknowledgement of this terrible service. In this day and age it was disgraceful to be treated like this mad the whole of our party is still upset about it. Avoid this hell hole at all costs
Pretty well located with the city centre just 15 min away. Breakfast is free and good to set you up for the say. Only complaint was that you MUST BOOK A CAR PARKING SPACE and no one told us so we had to find a spot on a local Street.
We stayed here for a 4 night stay with team England for the dance world cup. When we first arrived the manager managed to get us into our rooms early, after that it went down hill. Most of the staff we dealt with we're very rude one lady in particular was appalling. By Tuesday evening they has run out of soft drinks, alcohol and snacks. When we asked why they had nothing we were just told they don't usually have this many people. They don't serve dinner but they did give is a takeout menu which made most people ill. The best thing I could say is that it was quite clean although some rooms still hadn't been cleaned by 5pm. We would never stay here again and suggest that they look at booking before taking them if they can't cater for a large party. Also some of the staff need some serious training in customer service. Would most definitely not recommend staying here for more that one night at a push.
The hotel is not in the best of areas, and the general decor looks a bit tired and dated, but the room was a nice size. The aircon worked very well, the WiFi worked ok, and the breakfast was decent. The best thing was the staff, who were excellent and extremely helpful.
