This is a grand 6-bedroom holiday home in Stramproy. It is located in a peaceful holiday park and has stylish interiors. This idyllic home is perfect for big groups and families. The wooded surroundings, with nature reserves like Tungelerwallen, the Grote Peel and the Strampoyse Heide are perfect for endless hiking and cycling. Golfers can enjoy themselves on various golf courses in the area and you can visit 'De IJzeren Man' in Weert 5 km away for a refreshing dip. Restaurants and a supermarket are 5 km away. The home has been beautifully furnished with warm colours and stylish accessories. The large terrace in front of the house is a wonderful place to relax and have a nice barbecue. There is a large garden for the children to play in. You can rent a cot for €5. You're allowed to bring 2 pets for €25 per pet. Public transport is 5 km away and the nearest airport is 27 km from here.

Wir hatten uns sehr auf unser Wochenende gefreut. Als wir im Ferienhaus ankamen, war es blitzsauber. Ein Schlafzimmer war voller Heuschrecken, Käfer und anderer Krabbeltiere, die wir zwar wegsaugten, aber in den nächsten Tagen tauchten sie immer wieder auf. Die Sofas rochen unsauber; alles war klebrig und verströmte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Die Zierkissen waren fleckig. Einer meiner Mitreisenden, der unter anderem gegen Hausstaubmilben und Bronchitis allergisch ist, bekam starke Atemprobleme und musste zum Arzt. Wir hatten trotzdem ein wunderschönes Wochenende zusammen, und die Umgebung war herrlich.

Huisje was totaal niet schoon, lagen nog koekjes van de vorige huurders op de grond ook was er boven duidelijk niet gestofzuigd. Waterkoker hebben we ook zelf maar schoongemaakt. Huisje was oud en duidelijk aan renovatie toe. Ook allemaal erg gehorig. Ook zouden er fietsen beschikbaar zijn maar toen we hier tijdens het verblijf naar vroegen bleken die er helemaal niet te zijn. Bij ons viel het allemaal zwaar tegen, zeker geen aanrader om hier op vakantie te gaan.

De accomodatie en omgeving ziet er leuk uit. Helaas lag er stof in een paar slaapkamers en was een badkamer niet schoon. Daarnaast hebben drie mensen van ons gezelschap last gekregen van bed wantsen. Dat leidt tot veel jeuk en je moet alles bij thuiskomst grondig reinigen om besmetting van je eigen huis te voorkomen. Toen ik dat meldde was het volgens de contactpersoon onmogelijk. Het zou gaan om irritatie van de processierups. Die geeft in deze tijd van het jaar echter geen overlast, dus dat is een slecht bedacht excuus.

Het huis ligt in een klein vakantiepark, middenin de natuur. We hadden een leuk verblijf.Enige opmerkingen:De steile trap naar de slaapkamers stond niet vermeld in de advertentie, maar kan een probleem zijn voor minder mobiele mensen.Er waren geen wijnglazen en algemeen nogal weinig servies (borden, bestek, kommetjes, glazen), niet genoeg voor 12.De verwarming en het warme water in het huisdeel van de keuken werkte niet en we moesten zelf uitzoeken hoe we het konden aanzetten. Een handleiding zou handig zijn.De beide toiletten bevinden zich in de 2 badkamers, wat nogal onhandig is en voor file zorgt op de piekmomenten.
