We thought the morning breakfast started way way too late. It should open at like 6:30 or 7 at the latest. We had plans to ski and be at the mountain by 8:30. They should be more considerate of this and get food out by 7 not 8 am. That is entirely too late

Hotel, room, amenities and ambience didn’t match the photons or what’s stated on the site. Plus, the hotel room was GROSS at best. The smell and cleanliness far below acceptable level.

Good inexpensive place to stay close to places to eat

Nice place to stay close to shops and restaurants , rooms need some renovations

Room was good and close to Stowe. Jacuzzi was working but indoor pool was out of service- kinda a bummer. Office does not open in morning until 8 am with no key slot for early checkout- so for us early risers that want to get to the Mtn for first chair, was a little difficult.

Never saw any staff around, hotel pool was dirty, hot tub was not functional and sauna was out of order. Your lucky if you got a bagel at their "breakfast".

This place was a real dump - don't believe the nice pics from their marketing. We checked in around 8:30 pm and the front office was closed, with the key in an envelope taped to the front office door. We entered our room and the horrible smell was the first thing to hit us. Many problems with the room: bad smell, carpeting badly stained everywhere, black mold in AC unit, bugs crawling around and flying insects, lights that don't work, plaster from ceiling falling down from leak in roof, dust thickly built up on chair backs, and more. Luckily the front desk person the next day allowed us to cancel our remaining 2 more days and receive a refund on those days. We had to go find another place to stay, but I was happy I didn't need to worry about going back there. You should never have to dread going back to your hotel, but this was one of those places. Do not stay here until they renovate.

Room was clean and nice. Nothing fancy here but a good spot to stay if you're looking to explore the area. Parts of room/bathroom were dated but overall a positive and I would stay here again! Free breakfast (except during off-peak times) with toast, yogurts, fruit, and some pastries, along with juice, coffee and tea.

Wi fi didn’t work in my room, parking lot was slippery full of ice,

If you've another option, take it!! Our family (party of 4) stayed 4 nights and this is our experience: we stayed at Chamonix room and as soon we enter the apartment was very warm: 80! We couldn't low the temperature and the staff told us that it was broken so they will desconect and repair it (never did it) There is a oblong dining table with just 3 chairs, where was the 4?? I was ready to cook the dinner and no non stick pan, no one small one and the big pans were really very very used, and certainly no spoons to cook so I thougt that I could use a soup spoon but... there were only coffee spoons!!...ok, I used one and accidentally I touched the edge of the oven's door and it gave me an electric discharge, a big one! I covered the door with a small towel. Next day we bought the items we need to cook and preparing the dinner, as the stove wasn't clean under the "spin" (you know, the kind of 80's stove) it began to smoke, and of course the alarm started to sound ! Finally we could stoped the sound and as my husband wanted a cup of coffee I took one, and it was really dirty!! Finally I can tell you that just up the air conditioning of our room is the air conditioning of the upstairs apartment, and they turned on the air conditioning at 2:00 am and it began to leak, guess what? Every drop was falling over our apparatus! (remember please, it is a very old air conditioning apparatus) of course we couldn't sleep, because at the beginning we thought it was raining,.. awful stay

The room was clean, and not in bad shape. Overall, it was fairly comfortable. There were bikes that could be borrowed by customers at will, and its in a nice location. The Wi-Fi service was terrible, and it didn't work at all. They have hot tubs, but the indoor one didn't work. The water was warm, but none of the jets functioned. I would stay her again, but there is definitely work to be done.

Our room was very comfortable and we loved being able to sit out front and enjoy the sunsets. The "free" continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, we got up early one morning at 8:00AM and there were only a few slices of toast and a very small assortment of fruit available. I've seen better breakfast selection at Motel 6s and expected a bit more. When we checked out around 9AM one morning, there was literally no breakfast to be seen [please see photo]. All in all, quiet and pleasant stay but don't expect a substantial [or any] breakfast

Room not clean, no room service and breakfast was MIA...

Arrived at 10:15, the lobby was closed and a key taped to the door for me. A pickup and a couple young guys were hanging out in the parking lot, a little odd as it was chilly. The key didn't work well in the lock, it took five panicky minutes to get in the room, thinking I might be stuck late at night without a bed. Once in, the bed and room were fine except it was quite musty smelling. I don't usually complain, and I'm not picky about hotels. But this was an unusual night. I didn't feel safe, had no idea if the men in the parking lot were trustworthy or who to contact if I had problems. The room was cold, 64 degrees, the heat eventually warmed it a little. After an unsettling night, I went to the lobby for breakfast and there was nothing. A nice young man came out, told me I was the only guest and he'd bring pastries and coffee out if I wanted. I didn't, but asked him to help me back in my room as the key really didn't work. He figured out how to open the door after a couple minutesand showed me the trick, but gave no indication that this was something that perhaps needed to be fixed. Or given to someone late at night without explicit instructions! I also believe he was one of the men hanging in the lot the night before, who didn't come assist with the key and preferred to leave me a key instead of checking me in even tho he was there. Conclusion: nice man, but clueless about general & specifics of hospitality. I have business in Stowe regularly but will not return here.

we did a short stay in late jan for 3 days of skiing and riding. Price was right, room was reasonably clean. location is perfect for a short ride to mtn and easy access to restaurants at night. it lived up to our expectations which weren't high- perfect inexpensive home base. My only complaint which wasn't a deal breaker but a small disappointment. The reservation included a continental bfast, we weren't expecting much but did expect to be able to grab a cup of coffee some oatmeal or a banana before hitting the slopes. we are early risers and like to get to the mtn for first chair and as late (or early) as 7am the lodge was still closed. don't know or really care if it started later but there was no one around to ask. the good thing about the location is that the convenience store is across the road so we got what we needed and where on our way.

super friendly, great decor, enjoyed the pool/hot tub. beds were not comfortable but otherwise enjoyed our stay
