Good service friendly staff good service. Breakfast was good room was clean roomservice was done on time.

The bed was bad a dirty the hotel smell .people wasn't nice they don't care

Where do I begin. When I got there the pool was not working or had not worked in a long time. Second, the room they gave me the door didn't work so I had to be given another room. Third, the room smelled absolutely horrible. Clothes still smell. Then when I decided i would take a shower, go figure the shower curtain was gone. I won't even mention the buckets in the hallway catching water or the door number signs that fell down and were wrote on with a sharpie. I would not recommend anyone staying here. The worst hotel I've ever stayed at!!!

Idk what the deal was but people hanging out outside my room shooting the bull till 11 at night complained but it didn't help anything. I was there 10 days and not once did my sheets get changed. I was lucky if they made the bed correctly. (Fitted sheet all bunched up underneath...) not a fan... Out of date still have the old box tv's. With the exception of the front desk (two guys). None of the hotel staff I met spoke English. Good luck asking for something.

The entire hotel smells like one giant ashtray. I made the mistake of looking at the pictures of the outside. The inside is pretty ghetto. Slow almost useless internet, old TVs, and the cigarette smell made me gag. Wish I had not used Orbitz or I would have walked right out the door, The bathroom toilet runs all night and cannot be fixed by jiggling the lever.

I will stay again if I am in the area. We all got a good rest.

First...there is no place in that town named Storm Lake Hotel....it is now Buena Vista Hotel. We couldn't find it. When we called the hotel to ask where it was located the guy at the front desk could not tell us. We were in front of WalMart, told him, still nothing...it turned out the hotel was caddy corner from WalMart. I boarder in the bathroom was halfway off the wall. Pool wasn't working. It was fine for our need. He gave us a room close to the back door which was helpful as we had a person using a walker.

The staff member was very kind and accommodating. He was willing to change our room from a king bed to a double bed and was very understanding. I really appreciated it.

this hotel was alright wish the pool and hot tub was working! said online it was but got there and it was shut down!

I made reservations and called the afternoon of my stay to let them know we would not arrive until 11PM. They assured us they had our non-smoking room with two beds and they would hold the room. In fact they told us this was the only kind of rooms they had left. When we arrived, they given away our room and only had one room left. It was a smoking room with a single king bed. The staff on duty wanted to give us a discount but had no idea how to do it. We only stayed one night leaving early the next morning for a marathon starting in this town. The room seemed clean and was comfortable. Breakfast was okay, nothing special.

Great value for what we paid! The room was just fine, though the cable was out at the time. It had a fridge and microwave, which I hadn't expected. The pool was very nice, and warm water too. The continental breakfast had plenty of choices for our family, though nothing too extravagent. I'd stay there again if the rate was as great as we got this time!

Stayed one night for business and it was a good retreat from similarly priced hotels in the area that disappointed. Close to the highway. Lady at the front desk was very nice and gave us recommendations on restaurants in Storm Lake. I'd like to come back.

The room was fine, clean, no problems there. However the dog in the next room started barking at 5:30 am and did not stop, the pool was cold, the hot tub was scalding and had soap scum on the side. The pool area was freezing cold (yes it was winter), we noticed that of the three heat units in the pool area only one was running, when we asked the front desk about it, they told us that it had recently broke and someone was going to be in to fix it soon. I ended up chatting with a couple who stayed at this same motel last year and said it was broke then as well. So much for maintainance. Also, the other bummer was the continental breakfast, when we got down there at 7:30 there was almost nothing left, and there was no restocking.

Wanted to make the trip special, so rented the jacuzzi room! Jacuzzi didn't work. Track lighting above the jacuzzi didn't work. Toilet was stopped up when arrived. Not impressed.
