++ Decent rooms with classic bathrooms Staff is very helpful . Rooms are clean. Good location -- Noisy , I could hear my room neighbors talking in the room adjacent to mine. Breakfast is very average.
Decent room, clean and has comfortable bed. The bathroom was very basic. The overall appearance is good. Very noisy from the hallway. The building it self has an interesting history, and the lobby is nice. Breakfast is very simple, nothing fancy at all. No gym or sauna at the hotel.
This hotel is located in a pleasant part of Stockholm which is well-connected with the Stockholm Odenplan station (going to the airport, and a short walk to Odenplan station on the main lines). They have friendly staff, a nice breakfast, and simple, clean rooms. The lobby/common area is nicely decorated. At the time of booking, this was the cheapest hotel in the three-star bracket in this area of Stockholm. Don't expect luxury accomodations, but for most people it will suffice nicely.
I would say this: First Hotel Norrtull provided us all the assistance we were looking for. Everytime they helped us and were available to any question or concern. Sincerly I can't say what was the best thing unless I will be unfair; this means that at my eyes everything was nice and excellent.
The entrance is fine in this former factory but a bit messy. The rooms have a cheap feel to it especially the bathroom which is ugly and boring. Walls are thin so you can hear the neighbours. Breakfast is good enough there is a bit of everything.
Some more space for the beds had been desirable. No place for side tables. I had to have my alarm clock and other things on the floor, which was a little inconvenient. There were no drawers for clothes and other things.
The hotel is located 40 min from Arlanda airport. My boyfriend and I got there by taking a shuttle bus from the airport, also known as a flyggbuss in Sweden. The bus stopped right outside of the hotel which was very convenient. We arrived at around 1 pm and check in time was 3 pm, however we got our keys right away and were able to go up to our room. The room was not that spacious but it was enough for me and my boyfriend. It was very cosy, clean with a lovely big window facing the street. The noise from the street did not bother us at all! The bathroom was spacious and clean too.Breakfast was included in our stay and it was a good and fulfilling breakfast with fresh bread, coffee/tea, juice, variety of cheeses, jams and so on. Maid service came to our room everyday and made our bed and changed the towels. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were surprisingly soft! The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel or our room is that there are no plugs in the bathroom so drying your hair has to be done in the room with no mirror on the vanity table. Personally for me this was very inconvenient since I like to sit down and see what Im doing while I dry my hair and do my make up. The hotel is located close to a train station, about a 10-15 min walk. A lidl grocery store is just up the rode, very convenient. The hotel is also close to the centre of Stockholm which is very convenient. We had a little issue with the door to our room, it wouldn't close. We notified the receptionist twice however nothing was done about this. We were aware that all the locks on the doors in the hotel were being changed, however they never got to ours. But luckily nothing was taken from our room. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.
I stayed here for 1 night for a short business trip. It was suitable for my needs - room was clean and comfortable if a bit stark. The bathroom is a wet room so water gets everywhere (wet socks later!) The outside of the hotel and lobby/restaurant are striking - apparently an old warehouse for the state run wine industry. The greeting in reception was very friendly. The restaurant was disappointing for dinner - not much choice and I ordered a fish stew which arrived cold in the middle. I was worried about getting sick but I was fine. There was a good selection of beers though. Breakfast was good. The location isn’t fantastic for town, but the hotel can hardly help that and is good value by Stockholm standards. The Haga Park (15 mins walk) was nice for a walk in the morning.
After a few hectic days on a roadshow Sweden was our 3 country in 3 days. The weather was miserable, cold and pouring with rain. We arrived at the Hotel at 10 am and did not receive a very warm welcome... It seemed like the front office is understaffed and they had functions on the go and even a simple task of leaving our bags became a mission. As we only had 4 hours to explore Stockholm time was of the essence. They eventually assisted us with storage. We returned after 2pm and the receptionist immediately said the rooms are not ready come back at 3. We them asked to get our luggage and she told us that she cannot leave the deal as she is the only one and would have to find someone. Eventually a kitchen staff member opened up for us. At 3 pm she told us come back in 30 min . I asked her to check me in and give me a key card and I would go up later. When I went up 5 min later the room was ready and bad been for some time. As the Hotel have no telephones it looks like staff use cellphones. I stayed in Room 419 and the room was large and equipped with everything I needed. The clothes cupboard is open and a little off but everything work. The linen was new and the bed very comfortable. The towels need replacing. My shower only had like warm water at 3.30 pm and at 5 am.when I showered. We had a meeting downstairs in the conference room followed by a cocktail party. The evening's cocktail snacks were excellent! The night staff seem a lot more jacked up and friendly. ARMIE?? not sure of his name.worked at Front office and was extremely helpful. He even prepared 24 breakfast packs for us and apologized a number of times for the day staff. The breakfast packs were the best we have had. Some locks did not work on other guests doors and some complained about the lack of glass doors in the shower. Overall the Hotel stay was pleasant and comfortable.
Clean hotel with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately no fridge in the room, but the staff was very nice and helped us out. Breakfast is good and has a large variety of different breads, mueslis, sausages, cheese, eggs and fruits. The lobby is pretty and you could enjoy a whole evening with friends in the cosy chairs, however drinks are not cheap. It takes about 20 minutes to central station (Sergels torg) if you take the bus 57 that stops right in front of the hotel. A subway leaves at Odenplan which is a 5-10 minutes walk. We stayed 3 nights in a room 2nd floor that is facing the inner yard, our friends stayed 2 nights in a 5th floor room also facing the inner yard. The 2nd floor was the better choice as the windows were normal windows instead of roof windows and the hallway seemed better to be taken care of. Overall we would recommend this place and probably stay there again.
