It's one of the best hotel I have ever stayed. We spent here 3 nights in the middle of March. Best decision ever! The hotel is a bit away from the city centre, maybe 10 minutes, but there are a lot of bars, and restaurants within minutes. The Haga Park is 5 minutes from the entrance, as a runner, it was a huge advantage. The building itself has a warm atmosphere, the lounge area was pleasant. There is a bar inside, but unfortunately they don't serve hot wine. When we were in Stockholm, the cold was brutal, and when we arrived back at the hotel at the end of the day, it would have been awesome, if you could warm up a little with some hot, alcoholic drink. Please think about it! Our room was lovely, nicely furnished. The bed was freaking amazing, felt like I was sleeping on clouds, so comfy... The view from the room was great. The staff was friendly, and helpful. The cleaning ladies did a good work, our room was spotless. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was fantastic. There were different meals like eggs, sausages, fruits, a lot of types of bread. We usually ate in front of the window, and it was so peaceful, watching the people, and the transport outside. I miss those mornings. I have only one negative comment, and this is about the temperature. We would have been happier if our room was a bit warmer. It wasn't chilly or something, but it wasn't so so warm... So thats all. We loved our stay. Thank you
This is a hotel located in the old wine store for Stockholm. As such it is a converted industrial building built around the old loading courtyard. To say it is slightly eccentric is not describing it fully. Each rom is different with its uniqueness, on the 5th floor there are 2 petanque (balls) areas with sand. Yes I held a tournament there a while ago. the staff are wonderfully friendly and efficient. Breakfast is of good quality. They also serve lunch and dinner there but I have never eaten those meals. There is a bus directly outside or a metro station 250 m away "ODENPLAN" direct to the city centre or walking is 20 mins. Plenty of eating places around; Chinese, Indian, British, etc
The room. This hotel has a lower and more simple standard for their rooms. The worn doors let you hear everything outside in the corridor and it's impossible to not hear your neighbors through the thin walls. The hotel in general. The wifi was very good and staff was very friendly and caring. The food in the restaurant was very good. Location. The hotel is placed in the outer parts of central City. It's just a few minutes walk to closest commuter station, bus or subway.
We chose a superior room and it was quite nice. A downside is that the bathrooms are very cramped with no towel hangers and no room for the necessaire. All in all, we like this hotel and we are returning guests.
I stayed at the hotel during a weekend getaway visiting friends. The room was very cozy with a nice view to the courtyard. The breakfast and the reception service was outstanding as well. I will be back for sure.
Rooms are clean, but could be improved. Breakfast is good, but there aren't enough tables and the choice could be better. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Prices are good. Two metro stations are 10 minutes walk away and a bus stop is in front of the hotel so it's easy to reach the city centre with the public transport.
++ Decent rooms with classic bathrooms Staff is very helpful . Rooms are clean. Good location -- Noisy , I could hear my room neighbors talking in the room adjacent to mine. Breakfast is very average.
Decent room, clean and has comfortable bed. The bathroom was very basic. The overall appearance is good. Very noisy from the hallway. The building it self has an interesting history, and the lobby is nice. Breakfast is very simple, nothing fancy at all. No gym or sauna at the hotel.
This hotel is located in a pleasant part of Stockholm which is well-connected with the Stockholm Odenplan station (going to the airport, and a short walk to Odenplan station on the main lines). They have friendly staff, a nice breakfast, and simple, clean rooms. The lobby/common area is nicely decorated. At the time of booking, this was the cheapest hotel in the three-star bracket in this area of Stockholm. Don't expect luxury accomodations, but for most people it will suffice nicely.
I would say this: First Hotel Norrtull provided us all the assistance we were looking for. Everytime they helped us and were available to any question or concern. Sincerly I can't say what was the best thing unless I will be unfair; this means that at my eyes everything was nice and excellent.
