We are excited to share our property with you. Join us at our new lodging facility with luxury accommodations. The location of our lodge will have you enjoying every inch of what Rome has to offer:
• 5 minutes to Sand Valley and Lake Arrowhead golf courses
• Walk across the street to the new splash pad, mini golf and playground for families to enjoy
• Highly popular Rome Farmers Market and Pritzl's Trading Post is just one block away
• ATV/snowmobile and biking trails 500 feet from our driveway

Opened in the Summer of 2021, Rome Away from Home Vacation lodge is by far the most unique and premier location in Rome!

At a spacious 1,500 square feet, Fairway Lodge features a large patio with views of the sunset from both the living room and Master bedroom patios. Beautiful yard. Luxury sleeping for 10 adults and/or children. Fully equipped kitchen and living room with comfortable seating for 10. Large flat screen TV and fireplace to enjoy at the end of a busy day. Inside you will find top of the line furnishings, bedding, and linens as well as washer and dryer for your longer stays.

Fairway consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, and a pull out sofa.

Each suite is equipped with its own flat screen TV and luxury bedding so you can wind down in the privacy of your own suite if you so choose.

Bedroom 2 - 1 Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 - 2 Queen Beds

You won’t find another location like this in Rome.

This is a wonderful location for golfers, ATV and snowmobile groups, wedding parties, couples weekends, ladies weekends, weekend lake goers, fishing trips, families and much more.

Spend the day exploring what Rome has to offer, then come home to enjoy dinner & drinks on the back patio.

Check-in & check-out are easy with key code entry. You will have full access to the lodge including the outdoor area.

There is a large blacktop parking lot for your ATVs, snowmobiles, boats and fat tire bikes.
Other things to note
Rome Away from Home does offer two private and secure, side by side vacation lodges. Alpine and Fairway.

Have a larger group? Please let us know if you are interested in booking both units. Alpine and Fairway need to be booked separately.

Both lodges are under the same roof, but each lodge has its own completely safe and private entrance, private patios, living rooms, kitchens and bedrooms.
Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchen, a washer/dryer, and 2 bathrooms.

Great place to stay. Plenty of room. The best place we have stayed that is handicapped accessible. Doors are wide. You can get a a wheelchair or walker through all of them. Would be nice if there was a grab bar in the shower along the back wall. Would stay here again.

Family Retreat

We brought the whole family together for a retirement party and several members needed somewhere to stay. For our older folks, this was a very comfortable and quiet respite from the chaos of the main house with small kids. Perfect location for our needs.
