My husband and I stayed here over the second weekend in July. We were in town for the Balloon Rodeo. This property is in a great location at the base. It’s an easy walk to the bus stop at the gondola house to catch the free bus to downtown. There’s also plenty to do at the base. As for the room itself, it is clean and comfortable. There is a small dorm size refrigerator with a small freezer, a coffee pot and supplied coffee but no creamer, a toaster and a microwave. It was quiet during the time we were there. The things that could use improvement are the shower which is very low. I’m 5’2” and almost had to duck to get under it. My husband is 6’ and it hit him in the middle of the chest. The water temp also fluctuates when water is drawn out of the system in the other units (I assume toilet flushing but couldn’t hear it). The bed has a dent in the middle but didn’t interfere with my sleep. Also, the pillows were not the best. If you are driving, I’d recommend bringing your own. Over all, it was a nice unit to stay in and we enjoyed our weekend in it.

Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, room comfort

Old, dusty, and not worth it

This places was a disappointment. The pictures made it seem a lot bigger and nicer than it was. When we walked in, we immediately noticed a bad odor, most likely due to mold. All the pillows were extremely old and flat. We are both sensitive to dust and our allergies were going crazy every time we were in the room. The shower could only be comfortable for someone below 5 ft. The water also constantly fluctuated between extremely hot and cold. The only positive about this place was that it was super close to the resort. Overall, it was not worth the money.
