I travel a ton for work and stay a lot of the time at choice hotels. This one I would recommend to anyone. The rooms at a hotel or in pretty good shape but with me what made it great for me was the breakfast. The food itself was fine but Pam was extremely friendly and I could tell really cares about her job. I liked having a foosball table there too.
This was a great place to stay! Extremely friendly staff at front desk for check in, super comfy beds, on demand tv with so many channels and a decent breakfast. Will stay again if in the area. Thanks!
An overnight stay in Steamboat Springs prompted our random selection of this property. We had not been to Steamboat in decades! We found a comfy room, clean environment and very friendly staff which prompted our above average rating for this chain establishment. No complaints!
Stayed here last week, and also stayed a few years ago. Both times a great experience. This hotel is very convenient to the ski resort - only 2 miles from the lift - without paying the expensive prices of being right at the resort. Also 2-3 miles from downtown. There are buses that can take you downtown if you don't want to drive or park. Lots of bike trails converge near the hotel so it's easy to walk or bike. Regarding the hotel - great rooms, good service, and a super breakfast. I'll stay here again for sure.
The beds are comfortable, the a/c unit makes a nice fan noise to drown out any outside noise. Movie channels on DIRECTV were included, but there was no other way to watch movies on the TV. The pool is small, but sufficient for the kids. Would be nice to have a hot tub. The included hot breakfast was filling, with a made to order omelet station. The attached restaurant was so convenient after a full day of skiing at Wolf Creek. One night, we ordered pizza to go. All we had to do was walk down the hall to pick it up and bring it back to our room. A drawback was that it closes on Sundays and Mondays. The hotel is conveniently located in the downtown area, neighboring two hot springs. Although, we didn't venture out, it is walking distance to a park and a walking trail that is downtown. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.
Just got back from a trip to Steamboat. I stayed at the Quality Inn for 4 nights. Room was nice, bed was comfortable, staff was friendly, hot breakfast every morning and the city bus stops right out front. 4 stars.

We stayed in this hotel four days leading up to New Year's Day 2017. The location is very convenient to the ski slopes and along the free public bus route. The staff was very good and friendly. The rooms were typical of this type of hotel -- clean, comfortable and no frills. The breakfast is also typical of this type of hotel -- value oriented. Overall, a very good place to stay for the price and location.
This hotel was a little pricey for the quality but compared to prices of surrounding resorts, it was a good value. Located directly on the free bus orange line, you can get from the hotel to the ski lift or to the downtown area. The hotel is even located on the night bus route that runs until 3:00 am. The complimentary breakfast was sufficient and the rooms were nice and clean. A microwave and mini fridge were located in the room. I would stay here again for a long weekend of skiing.
Front desk staff were helpful and friendly and kind. The Quality Inn has four pet friendly rooms for a fee - call ahead if you want to reserve a pet friendly room. Our room was clean, spacious, modern with two comfortable queen beds. Lodging in Steamboat Springs is very expensive especially during the Christmas holidays - it is a ski resort town. The Quality Inn was the most reasonably priced that we could find. The lodge is on the edge of town but reasonably close to the ski lifts, restaurants, and downtown shopping.
