Nice clean rooms and updated. Breakfast is included and had a nice variety of food choices, including fresh fruit. Nice to have breakfast for a good start to a day of skiing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The pool and spa were small but doable. Good value hotel.
hmmm..........no. Not much good to say..................
Stayed overnight in order to ski Steamboat. Suitable hotel for a reasonable price.
Friendly staff, great updated room that was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast left a bit to be desired but overall a great rate for a very nice room.
Very dated and rundown. We have stayed in Steamboat for years...for the money I could get more bang for my buck.
We had a nice time. We stayed two nights. The room was clean, but the bed was saggy.
The hotel was neat and clean. A little dated, but was comfortable for our stay. We were out and about for baseball tourney, so we didnt spend much time at the hotel. The beds were really comfy, but the pillows were horrible. The staff kept the room clean for us, but we had to ask for towels after the servicing.. Overall, a good value for the money...
All lodging is overpriced in Steamboat Springs, even in this off season, I don't know why. So this LaQuinta is OK / normal. Staff was helpful and friendly. You can walk 20 yards to Rex's bar and grill next door which serves food until 10 pm and has an interesting menu. Basic breakfast bar, only.
Clean. Beds comfy. Quiet. Ski trip. Pool is very small. So is the hot tub. Breakfast was usual cereal, waffles, muffins type continental.
We stayed one night. When I was searching for a hotel in Steamboat Springs, the hotel seemed to offer the best quality for the price for the local area. Overall the hotel was okay. The room was clean and quiet, and the appliances, fixtures etc. worked fine in the room. The complimentary continental breakfast offered waffles but no other warm selections. The hallway carpet at the top of the stairs is worn and the hallway rustic wood paneling was marred. There is no elevator to the second floor. Overall we felt the value provided for the price was reasonable, with the understanding that most hotel rooms in Steamboat Springs are $30 - $50 more per night than the same rooms would be elsewhere.
OVERPRICED, RUNDOWN OLD DAYS INN WITH A PAINT JOB. POOL IS EXTREEMLY SMALL, ENTIRE HOTEL SMELLS BAD, BREAKFAST WAS A JOKE.
La Quinta had great front desk personnel that were helpful and very nice. Rooms were clean and organized well and hallways were relatively quiet. I did not expect the best hotel every but was completely satisfied by the room, considering the price. Pool hours are decent and the hotel is close enough to downtown and ski lifts. Not a bad deal at all and I would definitely suggest this place over other "cheaper" places.
Very friendly and helpful mangement. Rooms were what you'd expect for around $100/night - nothing fantastic but the bed was surprisingly comfortable.
The breakfast spread was good, above the average muffin and bagel basket spread. Cozy hotel, small size since it is in a small town. Cleaning lady did not speak any English and tried speaking to us in Spanish, which was very frustrating to understand. She was also very pushy and bothered us while we were packing before the checkout time. That was the only annoying incident. Other than her, our weekend say at la Quinta in steamboat springs, co. Was very enjoyable and relaxing.
We only stayed here for 2 nights but it was fine. Other than the A/C being loud (which seems to be the norm at most hotels) this hotel fit the bill. The price was average and it was in a good location to the mountain and surrounding activities. The sink was outside of the bathroom which is something we like. The toilet/tub area was a little tight but other than that it was clean. Would stay here again.
Very clean and proper. Quiet, they even have quiet hours which is very handy in a resort town where teens and college-aged people can party all night. I would certainly stay here again. Breakfast was not as good as other similar hotels, but sufficient.
Nice beds-they went with 17in pillowtops. very comfy after a day riding. The pool and hot tub were ruled by kids during the day but empty at the end of the day. Having the pool inside is nice on a windy day. the free bus stops right out front or get on the Core trail across the street and ride into town.
Enjoyed indoor pool & hot tub without crowds.
Clean, quiet and the room was very well appointed. The continental breakfast was adequate. The pools/ hot tubs were clean and functional. Liked the big screen TV. Free transit access to Mt. Werner, Steamboat Springs and our snowmobile tour were available front door.
A good value especially with the new HD televisions. (awesome for watching the Olympics).
