Regardless of the property we rent, it's the incredible service provided by Steamboat Lodging/Winter Park Lodging that keeps bringing us back. Howelsen Place is the 5th property we have rented and each place has something great unique to the address. A302 is in a great location and it was the perfect place for 2 people. Great location, walkable to everything in town and nice having a parking spot! Was a little loud at night with the garbage compactors running randomly but if you’re a deep sleeper it was ok. The space was perfect, kitchen stocked, and roomy. Bonus that there was laundry in the unit!

Great location in the heart of downtown Steamboat

Perfect for what we needed. Only difficult part was finding the place but if you can find the restaurant, “Cypress” it is in the same building. Would stay here again.

Excellent place to stay! Convenient to everything downtown and just a 10 minute car ride to everything on the mountain! Steamboat Mountain Lodging was so nice and helpful! Will stay there again for sure!

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Howelsen Place. Location was great, the condo was spacious w really nice quality bedding and cookware, and we appreciated having a washer dryer in the unit w all of our ski gear. The unit was quiet and well appointed and we definitely would stay again!

Downtown Steamboat is the place to stay.

This is a great small condo in downtown Steamboat. It is nicely decorated and has high-end sheets and towels. Bed is very comfortable and it is very quiet. Kitchen is well-equipped. It was a lovely stay at Christmastime.

Nice and clean condo in a great location. Fireplace was clearly disabled despite being showcased in the photos. Understandable from an insurance perspective but disappointing. Ski locker battery was out with no one to contact on the weekends. Soap/shampoo bottles were left mostly empty from previous tenants. Not big issues but the property management company is clearly phoning it in.

Great condo in downtown Steamboat!

Howelston Place is the place to stay in downtown Steamboat! The condo was very clean, well stocked with towels and paper products and has a very responsive property management company. It's super close to all the downtown restaurants and a 2 minute walk to the shuttle. We loved staying here!

We loved our accommodations and the location. Many amazing restaurants within walking distance and bus stop to ski area only 3 minutes walk. We stay in a lot of short term rentals and have never been so well attended to. The rental was very well equipped and even had nice pots and pans. We look forward to staying here again.

Perfect stay for skiing

Very centrally located, beautiful and well stocked condo. Caught the free express bus to the mountain each day(15 minutes from door to gondola). Included ski locker at gondola square was incredibly convenient. Would definitely stay again
