The experience was incomprehensible. The host was deceitful in the description of the “ indoor lap pool” which was nothing other than a huge hot tub. The main level was extremely hot since there were no vents to cool off the rooms on the first level. The thermostat was 82 degrees at 10 am. The vents for any air were only on the upper level. Understandably this is a farmhouse and you can see that the integrity and beauty of the original wood and floor was maintained. However, these things need to be shared with the public. Thanks to VRBO who confirmed the misrepresentation by the host, they were able to accommodate my family elsewhere. Since my complaint, the host Home Sweet Hudson rewrote their description of the property.

A great place for a family break

We loved the house, and the pool/hot tub, and the hammock, and the yard, and the deers that came to visit us on the deck!!! Close to a couple of recreational areas, playgrounds, small zoo, a bunch of farms and a fantastic pizza joint (three brothers)! We'd love to come back!

Staying at Twin Cedar Pond Farmhouse that had an indoor pool/jacuzzi was the most awesome & amazing experience that one could ever imagine. If anyone is looking to stay at a place that has everything, and I do mean everything, than look no further. Because this vacation spot was unbelievable. Staying here was a dream come true. From the kitchen to each and every bathroom that were very modern & clean as can be, to each bedroom that were the most comfortable beds that we had ever slept on. And the towels were the best towels that one could ask for. This was a place that you would want to spend as many days there that you can, because there is just everything in this home, from smart T V's to an outdoor deck that is breath taking, to the indoor jacuzzi that you don't want to get out of. And the surrounding property & the ponds are just beautiful. And to make things even greater was how quick & responsive the host's were, making sure we were always ok. We just can't bare the wait till we return.

A great summer vacation

We had some trouble with our check in process, but the response time to fix it was quick. The hot tub was lovely, and the pool house was so fun for both the adults and the kids. There was an issue with my wife finding old kids applesauce packets behind the couch throw pillow. Other than that it was a great stay. Kids had fun on the swings and hammock.

Cute, nice property, secluded

The property was lovely, the outside is like a vacation in its own. We needed a little getaway and this house was a very nice one for it. Its private and secluded. The contact support was also very quick and responsive.

Farmhouse Getaway

We loved our stay at this unique house! We loved the historic setting, the decor, and the beds were very comfy. The swim spa was a real treat too and we took full advantage of it. :-) Although the house was closer to the road than we’d prefer, it’s a fairly quiet main road most of the day. We’ll have to come back in better weather to enjoy the extensive decking and fire pit, but we could tell it would be a great place to hang out if not for the wintry weather we had. We live in the same county but enjoyed driving the back roads through beautiful farms and rolling hills. There are several small towns nearby that are fun to explore and the mighty Hudson River and Catskills aren’t too far to the west. All in all, we recommend this house to all (except maybe those with toddlers due to open stairs.)
