its a great property but your staff just didn't seem to want to be there . get people that want to make the experience enjoyable. the people I have met in the USVI are some of the happiest people I have experience in all of my travels then I come to your property get the exact opposite experience . we will not be back

The hotel, restaurants, amenities, and over vibe was Amazing!!! Why I can’t give it all 5 stars is because we stayed there Tuesday-Saturday and did not get any house keeping. Except for the second day at 8 am. Other than that, it’s definitely a great place to stay!

My husband had a medical emergency the night before we were supposed to arrive there. We tried to change the dates. The airline would change the dates but YOU WOULD NOT. I tried calling and no one would respond back to me. So no I’m not happy.

Lobby, pools, outdoor resturants were very nice. Unfortunately, the front desk staff that we experienced (3 or 4 different) individuals were cold, with attitudes as if they were doing us a favor speaking to us. Melania and Jessica at the main bar restaurant Luna Mar were very good and very service minded as were the managers. You need to be prepared and capable of climbing stairs which we didnt mind. Food was okay, Luna Mar had good bar food, salt shack had good bbq but very very long waits. Sugarfin, not so great. Bell and car service teams were very accommodating. Overall, a nice place to stay if you like the hills and terrain of St Thomas. Last note: as a long time Marriott Bonvoy member, the front desk service team including management was the worst experience I had and I travels 80% for business and mostly stayed at Marriott 's. Its an island thing with St Thomas... vey different in Aruba as an example.

My stay at the Westin St. Thomas has been extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected of a Westin property. From the moment we arrived, the experience has been unacceptable. Our room has a persistent musty odor and smells strongly of mold or mildew. This is not only unpleasant but raises serious health concerns. Given the premium rates we are paying, this alone is unacceptable and has made it difficult to feel comfortable in the room. Service throughout the resort has been consistently slow, disorganized, and, at times, rude. One particularly frustrating example involved your advertised daily happy hour. We were told happy hour was available, only to be sent from one bar to another. At the first bar, we were informed they did not participate in happy hour at all. After being redirected, it ultimately took 38 minutes to receive just two drinks. The drinks were very watered down, and this should not be happening for the price point we’re paying. They also had no straws available. To make matters worse, we later learned that happy hour is not offered on Sundays, despite being advertised as a daily amenity. This lack of clarity, coordination, and respect for guests’ time is unacceptable. The food quality throughout the resort has also been extremely poor. Meals have been consistently disappointing, poorly prepared, and not remotely reflective of a luxury resort experience. Save your money and pick another resort.

Second Stay, Even Better Than the First — Truly Exceptional Our return visit to The Westin St. Thomas Beach Resort & Spa somehow managed to exceed an already unforgettable first stay. From the moment we arrived, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like coming back to a place where we were genuinely remembered and welcomed. This trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my wife Diane’s birthday week, and the Westin went above and beyond to make it special. Thoughtful surprises greeted us in the room—complimentary wine, cheese, cupcakes, and champagne—and one of the most touching moments was a bellhop softly singing Happy Birthday to Diane. It was sincere, unexpected, and perfectly captured the spirit of the resort. Our ocean-view room was beautiful, with stunning sunsets each evening and cruise ships gliding by in the distance. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves and starting each day with that view never gets old. The resort itself is pristine, peaceful, and perfectly situated along Morningstar Beach. Dining on property was excellent. Luna Mar and Sugarfin were standouts, and the nighttime atmosphere along the beach—with the waves, the lights, and the breeze—was simply magical. Every staff member we encountered, from guest services to dining and housekeeping, was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. What truly sets The Westin St. Thomas apart is its people. The conversations, the smiles, and the care shown throughout our stay made this trip.

Checked in and the hall was filthy. Dirt and clearly hadn't been mopped in who knows how long. Our room floor was dirty with sand, and someone's toenails. Trying calling numerous times and no answer at any extension except in room dining. They stated they would transfer us numerous times and just continued to hang up. Went to the front desk and asked them to clean the room. After that we received 2 towels one day and no room cleaned the day after. Tried calling and speaking to anyone but absolutely no answer. A glass outside of someone's room was there for three days. Absolute neglect or care here. For the price and it being a Westin we were clearly disappointed and will no longer be staying at their hotel "resorts."
