I loved the hotel. We were given a room that is accessible enabled-but not quite accessible only. I appreciate that for those who are accessible the mirror in the room is lower to the ground. However… for those of us who aren’t. A full length mirror on any of the other hotel walls would be appreciated. It is my only complaint on an otherwise perfect stay

The first couple of days at this property were rough and something I had to get used to. It was common to wait up to 45 minutes for your food to arrive. And the food was meh. Also, the hotel was out of several items (specifically any breakfast sandwich in coffee shop and the green drink at the salt shack). After a couple of days I excepted that this was "island time" and I got less grumpy about the bad service. The other annoyance was the beach area. I am older but thankfully don't have mobility issues. If I did, I would have never been able to make it to the beach as the elevator was broken the entire week I was there. Getting to the beach required navigating steep steps. Once there the views are spectacular but the beach area is very small. I was excited to go on vacation and take walks on the beach every morning....but this was definitely not happening on this very small stretch. A walk on this beach takes 5 minutes. For a property to charge the amount of money that the Westin in St. Thomas does you have a level of expectation that you want things to be pretty great. Which they most definitely were not. Additionally, they have bogus charges on my card that I asked repeatedly to be removed. They are still there. On the pro side, the staff was incredibly friendly and they did their best. I feel sorry for them because they were constantly having to deal with unhappy customers. I saw it everyday in the lobby.

I did not like the unexpected Resort Fee of $75 per night. I questioned it at checkout but never received a satisfactory answer. Also, I told your staff that the overhead shower didn't work or we were unable to work it, and it never was addressed. The shower amenities had an empty bath gel container. We quickly received a new one but the receptacle was broken. We enjoyed the pool and beach areas and found the staff friendly. There were a lot of plusses to our stay, but the Resort Fee makes us question our return.

The staff supporting the clients of the Westin were all professional, welcoming, and efficient. Everyone smiled and had pleasant attitudes toward me throughout my visit. I would definitely recommend the accommodations to others.

Well worth it !!!

Lovely resort! Beautiful vistas! Great beach with plenty of chairs and umbrellas! Great food service on the beach from salt shack restaurant! People so nice! Pool area very nice with 3 pools to choose from! 2 pools are exclusively for adults. Plentiful restaurant options with outdoor dining Rooms newly renovated fresh clean and comfortable beds! Overall a great resort and very family friendly as well You can take a hotel shuttle down to beach or outdoor staircase with lots of stairs but pretty views along the way One problem was that the beach elevator was out of service, but in our group of 70-4 year olds we all managed the steps up and down just fine ! Our group of 14 people agreed that we would all definitely return! Enjoy your stay!

If I can give any advisor please DONT read the bad reviews! They kept me up for 2 days after booking! For no reason! I cannot recommend this place more! My family & I had the most amazing time. The staff, the food, the grounds, transportation, rooms everything about this place was amazing! It’s a true relaxing getaway on island time and it’s just what the DR ordered! Thank you Westin for making our lil 5 day getaway perfect!!!!! You all rock!!!!!!!! Xo
