Nice Hotel. Kind of old, but clean. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Small private beach. One street over from Rte 275 bridge, be sure to go over bridge (toll) and stop at rest areas at both ends! It was awesome! We got on the bridge by mistake, but were so glad that we did!

rooms and other facilities were extremely clean and all staff was very helpful

The hotel has a beautiful view of the bay. Customer service is great. It isn't too fancy or pretentious. It is comfortable and a great value! I will definitely stay with them again!

Great little find at St. Pete. Older but clean and fun! Very reasonable price!

It was not good the toilet wasent properly working mattres very bad i think the price was wsy to much gor the way the condition of the hotel very very bad

We stayed here two years ago, so we returned knowing we would have a positive experience and a comfortable room. We were not disappointed. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, but two lights were burned out and the toilet was not working correctly.

We stayed here on a trip to visit Eckerd College. It was convenient to the school and close to a lot of restaurants and stores we needed. The rooms are clean, bed are comfortable, grounds are very nice with marina, beach, tiki bar, pool and restaurant on site.

Door had been kicked in & chain was gone making it unable to lock from the inside. Room was filthy. We Lysol wiped even the outside of our luggage before we even put it back in our car. We arrived in a terrible storm & everything else was booked. Trust MeWe looked hard! This is the only reason we had to stay. Sleep on top of our beach towels with one eye open. Staff walked in on us twice & said oh sorry for some unknown reason. So scary. We could not wait to get out of their the next mourning.

The hotel staff were very helpful and nice. The facilities and rooms were Clean. The internet wifi was very weak and hard to keep a signal to accomplish anything online which was frustrating. The place was clean and staff friendly and helpful as well.

This place is quite a find, not expensive, right next to the Skyway, nice rooms, a little bit of a quaint feel, a place that had its heydays back in the eighties, quiet and pleasant. The bay does smell bad there, the algaes certainly emit some type of malororous smell, tennis courts are right next to the hotel. Very happy overall, my kid was able to use his remote controlled tank all over the tennis courts :-)

Great location. Great facilities. Thank you. Would definitely recommend in future.

the hotel was basically in the middle of nowhere off of a highway. The grounds were pretty nice however it smelled horrible!! I suppose it was the bay but it smelled like sewage constantly and that was quite annoying. The rooms were clean but it very much like a motel or an inn rather than a hotel. My boyfriend and I were only there to sleep really. It was pretty desolate with not a lot of people. If you like quiet getaways where there isn't much to do then I suppose this would be for you. If you are a young couple like us then I recommend staying somewhere else.

Great hotel for price.. good pools.. beach area not clean.. restaurant was ok not great.. overall happy with stay.. good for family on budget

I didn't like this hotel at all won't stay here again.

I had one extra night to finish off a biz trip and decided to try the Magnuson. It's a well kept old vintage hotel/motel on the bay. Nice little beach area, a couple of pool choices, a bar on the beach... reasonable price. It is an old place so if your neighbors are noisy, you will hear it. But I would stay here again!

This hotel should have 1 or 2 stars. It was filthy and hadn't been cleaned well.

The hotel didn't have reservation ready for us, but was so quick they resolve this problem. staff are really friendly and nice. hotel has tikki bar in the back looking the ocean and it is really relaxing. I will come back in the future for sure.

Our first time in Florida. The staff was courteous, friendly and told us about local attractions and one of a kind places to eat. Although we were disappointed that this hotel wasn't on the beach, we were able to find several beaches to walk and enjoy. The weather wasn't beach weather anyway! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Although this is an older resort, the staff definitely works hard to make your stay enjoyable and everything you are looking for!

Pretty much what it looks like. Don't get excited about the beach.

Nice location. Very nice staff. Hotel is older, but grounds are nice. Restaurant is good and beach bar is very nice. Only problem experienced were a few tiny ants in our room.
