Sandy Shores #305 - This condo is light and bright with tropical decor and many windows looking out and over Madeira Beach and the Gulf of Mexico. Living area has ample seating, and opens out to the beach front balcony. Large bedroom has two queen beds, television and walk in closet. Linens, extra towels and pillows are provided for the comfort of our guests. Enjoy free WiFi. Please note there is also a sleeper sofa in the living area. There is no phone in this condo.

Sandy Shores is a Smoke Free property including all private balconies and common areas.

You will be required to sign a rental agreement with SunHost Resorts prior to a reservation being confirmed.

As a SunHost guest at Sandy Shores, you will have access to office services, including fax, copy, and printing boarding passes. Seven day a week maintenance service is available as well as a 24 hour emergency on call person. This is a non smoking home. Sorry, NO Pets allowed.

Winter stay

Overall condition was good. Construction all around due to the recent hurricanes. Great view and nice furnishings.The elevator was not working prior to our arrival but again they had just been thru two hurricanes.The parking spaces are not marked well but the parking lot will be resurfaced in 2025.We would return next year but they do not allow pets which is typical of beachfront properties.

Great place.

Great view, good location across from the John’s Pass shops. Pool was open, 2 new grills recently added. The amenities and furniture by the pool and patio are slowly coming back after the hurricanes but overall a good experience. The unit is updated and has everything you need. Traditional coffee maker, etc.

I didn't want to be in a one elevator property. The elevator did break down but was repaired same day. The condo was very comfortable and the view exceptional. The mattresses were very very comfortable. The kitchen however needs work. The trim on doors and countertop are very rough.

Run Down & Difficult to Work With

The property itself smells of must. The furniture is old and the the condo is dated/rickety. There is only 1 elevator (that barely works) on the property, and it is extraordinarily slow - be prepared to walk lots of stairs! Separately, I placed my warm laptop on the cheap end table in the living room. The end table has a glass protective cover on it that cracked from the warmth of the laptop. The resort charged me $225 to fix the glass without conversation. There is no way that piece of junk end table cost that much to begin with, and per the resort the glass was also just changed/fixed before my arrival - which tells me that it is cheap/brittle and this is a recurring issue. The location of this property is great, but the benefit stops there. Rude & unreasonable office management! Highly advise finding a different property, there are plenty to choose from that aren't so run down and don't smell as bad.

Amazing views

This property had everything we needed to have a great vacation. Although we visited during red tide we were able to enjoy ourselves at the pool and Johns Pass Village. We also rented wave runners from Johns Pass. We look forward to visiting again.

Great place to stay

Need beach towels and beach umbrella and the unit would be perfect. You can rent on the beach for 30.00 per day. A few detail cleanings were over looked. The shower curtain and bead spreads and shams need to be laundered. It was a clean unit just a few details. Would visit and stay again.

Location great. Grounds & Unit needs updating. Waterfront view was great. Landscaping severely neglected. Cabinetry veneer is loose & coming off. The lamp shades throughout are broken/falling apart. The bedroom mattresses need replacing - sinks to middle & hard! The huge recliner needs replacing. Aluminum foil on burners is tacky! The corner unit is a great location But the vertical blinds need replacing. (Broken). The unit overall was very clean.... if updates were made - it could be a very nice unit.

Perfect location and view

The unit could use some updating and the blinds were difficult to use. The kitchen had the Bare Necessities, could’ve used a few more items. Location and view cannot be beat. The property is very clean and well-maintained.

Stuck in the 70"s with a great view

The property location to John's Pass and the view was amazing unfortunately the decor and amenities were lacking. The condo needs a full renovation and money spent on comforters, new toilet seat, etc. This is the first VRBO ( we have stayed in at least 6 or more) that did NOT have extra amenities like beach towels, beach chairs, plastic glasses since you could not have glass by the pool and just the little things that don't cost much but add value to your stay.
