Winter get away

It was great except for the last two days! Would really like a refund for those days we don’t stay but paid for those days! Had trouble communicating with owner!

The location is nice an quiet and in a safe area. This was a GREAT value, but note some things in the comment for improvements. The home is clean, relatively updated and spacious for 2 people. Neighbors were quiet and working folks in the cul du sac. The items that could be improved to make a stay perfect: 1) Some sort of instruction booklet on expectations, things in the area, check out times, how run furnance/ac, etc... There was password to access wi-fi on table, which was about it. 2) No blow dryer for my wife. We bought one for $12 and left it for the home. 3) Three of the four pillows were hard as rocks. So plan on buying one like we did for $4. 4) Additional blankets for some cooler nights. Had to manage with figuring out the thermostat. 5) This one is VERY important - Security Bar for the sliding door to the outside needs to be added. You can tell the latch has been broken into from outside with a screw driver or something. It is very easy to trip that latch when locked and access the home from outside. Noticed that on final day of stay. That needs to be address promptly and my biggest concern with the stay. Everything else - washer, dryer, location, cleanliness, updates, were all good. AC worked really good and furnance when heat was needed worked good.

Clean and comfortable, responsive host

The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The host was extremely responsive and always on hand - he even brought us extra kitchen equipment when we requested it. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The location was quiet but near to amenities with a car. There were nice touches like washing/laundry liquid and soap for the shower. I do think the apartment would benefit from more cooking equipment (such as more saucepans and spatulas and maybe a kettle), but we still had a great stay and I’m sure if we’d have asked for extra equipment it would have been brought, The host was very friendly.
