Let me start by saying that our stay was enjoyable, the location was great, the beach was fantastic. Property had significant remodeling since the hurricanes.. Pool / hot tub area is beautiful but the jets didn’t work. The biggest downfall is the elevator. Half the time it didn’t work, so I had to haul our heavy luggage down the stairs. The room itself was nice. It had a full-size washer/dryer (which got used a lot, will explain more); very nice bathrooms. Closet of beach items; chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, kids toys and a couple of coolers. We rented chairs/ umbrella on beach, but used the noodles and cooler every day. The unit had a great screened in porch, a nice table, chairs and 2 adirondack chairs. West side had room darkening drapes, east side, 2nd bedroom only had a blind and hallway light right outside was so bright all night, it really made it hard to sleep. Neither of us had room to bring our pillows and the ones there just plain suck.Now for the biggest issues we had. The thermostat in the property was impossible to control. The bigger issue was the humidity in the unit. It was 85% for the first 4-5 days.. why we used the w/d so much our towels would never dry! I found a dehumidifier, but it was so loud so we only ran when we weren’t there. Evidently the elevator is a recurring issue per tenants. This was our experience, hope it helps.
