Beautiful building and suite. The staff were very pleasant.

Love this place and the way they have modernized the look of the rooms. Really enjoyed our stay.

We like the location and the place. Quaint and clean. Our only problems were that the shower water took forever to get warm - realistically we had to wait 5 minutes for the water to get warm. But it never got hot. Adequate but not great. Secondly, their in room coffee was horrid. It was very weak and sour. I'd highly recommend they upgrade to better coffee.

Convenient location. Downtown Clayton. Little traffic around it. 2 miles from Washington Univ. Parking in an uncovered small lot cross the street. There is a sign with hotel name at the entrance. Not the most eye-catching. If you are lucky you may park at a meter to save the $17 a day (only thing i didn't fall for). Very cozy hotel with a court in the center. In warm weather it'd be nice to hang out at. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Room looked like newly renovated. Paint looked new. In general very clean. I liked the shower chamber with sliding glass doors a lot. Toilet was kinda modern and fancy with motion detection and heated seat. Vanity a bit small for a makeup holic. Whole room wasn't really spacious to be honest but all very functional with tv chest, love seat, small desk, chairs, shelves, and night stands. Breakfast was decent. Cereal yogurt fresh fruits baked goods coffee juice milk etc. Not in large quantities but staff kept putting more out. Many will enjoy the omelets cooked right on site nice and hot. A good 10+ different canisters of spices were laid out for order. I don't eat butter so i wasn't quite into that but i had a pleasant breakfast nonetheless. All in all i was very happy with this place. Whenever i visit St Louis i won't mind staying there every single time.

The rooms were very nice but all the common areas weren’t well maintained. There is not much in terms of amenities.

Quaint small hotel in the heart of Clayton. Good value, but missing some of the amenities of the bigger hotels. (Gym, etc).

One of my favorite hotels old school comfort convenient location friendly staff good breakfast

The hotel staff were e trembly friendly helpful and professional. The location was very convenient to all areas of St. Louis. Restaurants were within easy walking distance. Included breakfast provided numerous options. Excellen hotel at a reasonable price

The Seven Gables is a cute little hotel that could use a refresh. Although they lack a gym and a decent restaurant, they are located on a great block with good restaurants and a hair salon. It's a fun place to stay every now and the, for h could you not appreciate a hotel that has warm cookies and wine and cheese every night?

wonderful staff, great beds, great irish bar. What more do you need?

The staffs are very professional. Convenient parking across the street. Plenty of restaurants, bars and gallaries around the corner. Guest welcoming cookies, wine and cheese-fruit plate are happy surprises for us.

7 Gables is a charming hotel in a quiet little St. Louis neighborhood...it could use a little sprussing up and has zero amenities, but the room is comfy and the staff is friendly. There are very few choices in STL other than chain hotels so it's worth it for something different.

Easy parking, walk to restaurants, lovely setting, room was small, as you would expect in the city, but very full of the proper amenities. They even had central air + window unit to make sure you had enough air. Walk to the Ruth Chris Steak house. Drove a couple of blocks to the St. Louis Galleria and helped the economy.

We came for graduation at Wash U. Staff couldn't have been more accomadating and helpful. It was clean, spacious, has a lovely courtyard in the back and breakfast nook in the front. A small bussiness center was ideal. The pub/restraunt perfect for weary travelers arriving late. Location for Wash U ws ideal, parking easy, rooms well appointed. Don't hesitate to stay here. I wish we had found it when he started college instead of when he finished. Nearby gym off premise was a delight for spouse.

we really enjoyed the friendly and professional staff
