Warm clean room No:7 with sea view - white cotton bedding, soft towels, nice cosmetics, good tea tray, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and friendly service. On site parking and hotel has some history!

Needs a major upgrade. Poor heating due hardly being on and with insufficient window insulation. In fact sash windows can’t close so top of one window was stuffed with tissue. Had to improvise with a towel as the gap in middle needed blocking! General plumbing needs replacing as the smell wasn’t good and outside in the general area had air fresheners all over. Stairs and general decor is in poor condition. Big mistake not reading previous reviews 😡

The general area around the hotel was old and a bit untidy. St Leonard's itself is not a great location for travellers. Our room was large and OK but the hotel was a bit rundown. Breakfast was only available on the week-end.
