The hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier than the check in time. Nice room and very convenient to a bus station that had several bus routes as well (especially to the airport) as food options. The pool was unfortunately closed during the season we went however it had a rooftop bar which was open. There was a big grocery shop across the road which was convenient too! Really nice stay, would recommend

My friend and I stayed here from 08/07-08/13 for a girls trip. We had the unfortunate experience of staying in room 201. The hotel was clean but there was a foul sewer smell that would enter from the vents around 9am in the morning. The smell was so bad that it made us nauseous. This lasted from 08/09-08/13. We tried calling the front desk but our room phone wouldn’t work. We had to physically go to the front desk to complain, in which we did every day. Although we complained, management came to our room one time and did not follow up. Housekeepers came to our room and smelled the odor and notified front desk. While we were checking out we told the front desk agent that they failed to resolve our problem and their should form of compensation. The agent on 08/13 in the morning told us there was nothing he could do but notify his several managers. He would let them know and they will phone/email us the resolution. It is now 8/23 and we have never heard from them.

We stayed for 7 nights (March 30 – April 7) in a standard room with a balcony on the 3rd floor, including breakfast. I was traveling with family (no kids), and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a nice modern interior, comfortable beds, and clean, fresh linens. The location is very convenient — just about a 5-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and pubs nearby, but it’s still relatively quiet at night. The staff was very polite and helpful. I was especially touched to find our room decorated with balloons and petals for my birthday — such a lovely gesture, thank you! The room also had bathrobes, though oddly, no slippers. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the room and the decent soundproofing. There were a few minor downsides: the rooftop bar and pool area can get very loud, with music playing most of the time, and it seems like outside guests might be allowed in. The elevators were a bit unpredictable — sometimes skipping floors or taking strange routes. I didn’t manage to catch breakfast (I like to sleep in!), but I was told the selection was good and everything was fresh. The rooftop restaurant also has a beautiful view. Downstairs, there’s a nice little café where I really liked the croissants. All in all, I’d say the hotel is great both for young partygoers and more relaxed travelers. Thanks again to the staff for a wonderful stay!

Excellent hotel and location

Spacious room with a good big bed and a good double bath (no support handles for the oldies, though). An excellent and varied buffet breakfast on the 12th floor with Panoramic views of Mercury Tower complex, Paceville and Swieqi/Pembroke The staff were always very friendly and helpful

My overall experience was underwhelming; there were additional charges every time I went to reception, and of course, because I was on holiday, I just paid without arguing because I didn't want to ruin my time. The room was barely cleaned properly, and any time we made a request, it wasn't done because they were busy, but what's the point of having guests if you can't even tend to them? There was only 1 female receptionist that was amazing and would go above and beyond, but that experience was only if she was on shift. I'm not sure if I'd recommend this place to stay, but the facilities there were nice, apart from the room.

I enjoyed my stay here for the most part. The room was spacious, modern and clean. However the balcony was directly facing student accomodation and offices meaning going out on it was constantly overlooked. Being put on the 2nd floor too meant that the busy cafe across the street would also have full view to the balcony or the room if the curtains were open. Some frosting/ coverage on lower balconies would definitely help and be an improvement. Unfortunately I did not read the small print on the hotel page when booking as I had clicked the option for a hotel with outdoor pool, saw the lovely looking outdoor pool and area (as the first picture advertising the hotel) and when I got there, it was closed the entire time. I ordered room service one night, my order was slightly wrong (asking for a cheese burger but no cheese was on the burger), that was fine yet the food was brought up with no cutlery or condiments. When I had finished I had put the plate outside the room and selected the light on the door for attention yet I saw the same tray (with food remnants) in the fire escape corridor (as it is quicker than waiting for the lifts) a day later. The gym has the essentials for wanting to not only do cardio but to weight train too which is great. The problem with the area is that there is no free water available whatsoever in that area which, given the heat of the room and proximity to the indoor pool, is dangerous.

The reception staff were very helpful however overall my stay was only ok. The included breakfast whilst convenient was average with my bread being mouldy. My room (with Spa and Balcony) was very spacious however my shower could not hold the temperature; constantly changing from hot to cold. The air-conditioning was locked which made it difficult to make comfortable and lastly the room cleaning was poor. 2 used glasses were left unchanged for 2 days until I placed them on the bed; on one day, despite turning on the 'clean my room' sign at 8am, it still had not been attended to when I returned at 5pm and the floor constantly felt dirty.

Great hotel needs good staff - they have that.

The staff made this hotel. They really do pay attention to detail and deal with issues quickly and properly. The hotel is in a decent location, close enough to everything whilst being away from it all too. But it was January, so the noise was maybe minimum.

The place to be

Friendly staff, restaurant on site, great location to clubs, bars, restaurants and convenience stores. My only issue was that the room was a little warming to my liking even if I set the temp at its lowest and the shower would over flow and go onto the bathroom floor. Other than that It's a great stay!
