Our stay was a like a roller coaster. Overall, I do not recommend to stay at this hotel. We booked the most expensive/high-class room and upon check in it was dirty and disgusting. The shower was dirty and shower head crumbling apart from rust, bed sheets and towels were all dirty, room was dusty and has chunks of hair with dust hanging above the side of bed. Even though the issue was resolved upon complaint, it happened 2 more times. + the breakfast area is nasty, plates are all greasy, crumb are everywhere on the seats/floor/table, no proper cleaning done. Hotel has offered free ride and drink compensation, which is not enough to cover over all experience at the hotel. I wish we selected different place. The last to mention, i asked for partial refund, which managed said that will talk with reservation team as booked with Expedia and then ghosted me via whatsapp/email and then told Expedia that no refund will be given. Not a guest experience I would like to have on my celebration (we stayed 7 days)

Our room was rather big as was the bathroom, with a balcony with chairs and table. The room itself was very clean, everything was changed everyday. The shower was huge however we would have liked bigger towels( replaced daily) and a magnifying glass. The staff was amazing. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of maltese pastries and dishes and more.

A big thank you to the wonderful staff at this hotel. So warm and welcoming. The hotel was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was nice and the location is a minute or two from numerous restaurants/bars.

Fabulous Hotel - Staff Amazing

The staff at Mercure St. Julian’s were absolutely incredible. We had a newborn baby and I (Mum) was in a wheelchair following an Achillies injury - they couldn’t have been more helpful, accommodating and kind. The room was perfect, the room and whole hotel was extremely clean, modern and spacious. Pool on roof and sunbathing terrace perfect. Can’t recommend enough.

Overall wecenjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were adequate and the pool area was lovely with amazing views over the bay. The walls are a bit thin so you can hear people in other rooms but not unbearable. Unfortunately there was demolition going on outside our side of the hotel.

My 2nd stay here and I will stay here again when I am next in Malta in October. The main positive for me is the location and the room is very quiet / good sound proofing and I can always get a full nights sleep which can be rare in St Julians. The staff are amazing. Very kind and helpful. Nespresso machine in room and free pods every day. Everything clean and tidy. Good fridge nice and cold. Perfect!

The hotel was not really that easy to find for me but, once found, it enjoyed it. It was clean, and everyone were very welcoming and friendly even down to the cleaner.the food was great. Though i feel they should limit doughnuts and increase their fruit supply. Maybe some of Malta local fruits. However you have a broad choices of food. I would appreciate if they had oat or soya milk or yogurt for lactose intolerant people. Or gluten intolerance people. Overall it was a good experience. You get to keep your bag at the hotel too if you want. After check out and can chill in by the pool.

Hotel was great, ideal location for exploring from. Great bus links steps always from front door. Unlimited dining options within walking distance. Large clean/comfortable rooms, excellent bathrooms and shower. Amazing selection at buffet breakfast. Great roof terrace with pool for sunbathing and relaxing. Rooms cleaned daily. Would highly recommend staying here! (For sea views you would need to request a balcony room above the 5th floor.)
