We stayed for four nights on a short family break and couldn’t have asked for more. The location was absolutely fantastic — close to everything we needed yet peaceful enough to truly unwind. The price was very reasonable, and to our surprise, we received a complimentary upgrade which came with an outstanding view of the bay. Breakfast was perfect every morning — fresh, varied, and well presented. The service was second to none, with genuinely warm and attentive staff throughout. Housekeeping was outstanding, keeping everything spotless and refreshed daily. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, value, and a touch of luxury. We’ll definitely be back

Room was in very poor condition. The curtains didn’t even close all the way (there were hooks that had no curtain on it which meant there was a gap always with no curtain and the curtain couldn’t be pulled over it). The room is dated. The aircon is from last century. The duvet didn’t even fit the duvet cover - the side and the bottom had a lot of extra duvet cover which I wouldn’t expect from a 5 star facility. It’s doesn’t take much to get duvet covers that fit the duvet. It’s luxury to have a big duvet. It doesn’t feel luxury to have just a duvet cover over you with no duvet in it. It was also very dangerous as I tripped over the excess duvet cover draped on the floor because there was so much of it. The bed was very comfy but otherwise did not think much of the room. House keeping were very sweet and took care of the fact our bed wasn’t a twin as we asked. The room also smelt very stale and musky. Very off putting. Nothing could be done about the room when I complained. Wasn’t impressed by the hotel and would not recommend it. I would expect in 5 star to have some more service around the pools but didn’t get anything and had to set my own umbrella up as there was nobody to ask for help. The hotel was not 5 star standard

Don’t be put off by the building works — although unsightly on arrival, the noise was minimal and didn’t impact our stay at all. The hotel offers a great choice of pool areas with plenty of sunbeds, so there’s no need to get up early to reserve one. There’s also easy access to the sea for those who fancy a swim. On the downside, we arrived just before 12pm and were told check-in wasn’t until 3pm, which was fine. However, when 3pm came, we were repeatedly told it would be “just two more minutes,” and we didn’t actually receive our key until 3:20pm. It was clear the room had been prepared in a rush, as the dressing gowns and hairdryer were missing. The gowns were replaced quickly, but the hairdryer turned into more of an ordeal — housekeeping even suggested I hadn’t looked properly, which was frustrating. Thankfully, a visit to concierge resolved the issue, and a special mention goes to Brian, who was fantastic. The on-site restaurants — Don Royale (Italian) and Henry Beans (American-style burgers, ribs, steaks, etc.) — offered a great selection of food. Don Royale is very popular, so I’d recommend booking in advance. The breakfast buffet was one of the best I’ve had in a hotel, with an excellent variety and high-quality food. Despite a few minor issues, I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views and wonderful service, but rooms need updating We enjoyed our stay overall, though a few things were surprising. The hotel itself is beautiful — spotless public areas, stunning views, multiple pools, and a peaceful private beach area. The staff were exceptional from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and accommodating (even allowing early check-in after an overnight flight). Our room, while large, clean, and featuring a comfortable bed with a breathtaking balcony view, felt dated and in need of refurbishment. The décor and furnishings were worn, the bathroom grout was badly discolored, and there were few outlets and no USB ports. Oddly, there was a second bed instead of a small table and chairs, and no coffee maker — just a kettle for instant coffee. The spa and massage were fantastic, breakfast was plentiful, and the servers were kind and responsive. Afternoon tea, however, was served in drawers of a small nightstand rather than a traditional tray — an experiment I couldn’t quite embrace! Despite these quirks, the staff, cleanliness, and location made our stay pleasant. With some room updates, this could easily be a five-star experience again.
