Lower Deck - a cottage that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

This comfortable fisherman's cottage (part of our budget-friendly range) is only a second's walk from the Island car park, Porthmeor and Porthgwidden beaches. The Harbour and town are a short stroll away through historic Downalong. Built over 2 floors, Lower Deck is typical of many properties of its type in the town, having been subdivided from its upstairs neighbour long ago. Sharing the use of a small courtyard with its sister property, The Lookout, where the bin store and key safe are located.

Ground Floor

Sitting/dining room. 2 x 2 seater sofa, 32" Logik HD ready TV, new cabinet and electric ‘dragon' radiator. Dining table with seating for 4.
Galley kitchen. Fully fitted with modern units, fridge, electric cooker, washer/dryer, dishwasher and microwave.
Bedroom 2. Small room with captain's beds with a pull-out trundle bed underneath, hanging cupboard and drawer unit. Ideal kids' room.

Bedroom 1. Double bed, large built-in cupboard, new chest of drawers, and wall-mounted TV.
Newly fitted shower room. Walk-in shower, wash basin with mirror and storage above, WC and heated towel rail.
Heating is by portable electric heaters and is cosy and comfortable even in the depths of winter.
For those interested in walking, this property, together with The Lookout, is within yards of the South West Coastal Path. The properties can be combined for larger groups of 8 to benefit from 2 kitchens and 2 bathrooms.

lovely place to stay! rooms were big with comfy beds and a gorgeous view. right next to the beach with access to shops and nature walks very close by. unfortunately found some small bugs around the house, as well as a dead bug in the carpet. overall however was an absolutely brilliant place to stay for a week!

Die Lage des Cottages ist sehr schön und strandnah, die Kommunikation mit der Agentur war richtig gut, das Cottage insgesamt gemütlich und wie beschrieben, einzig die Küchenausstattung ist eher dürftig, zu wenig Geschirr für den großen Geschirrspüler.
