Perfect for our stay this fall. We enjoyed the screened porch and dock for a peaceful week of relaxation. The kitchen was well equipped and the use of beach chairs and umbrella was an added bonus.

Great location for husband an I and our 2 dogs. Centrally located on St. George, close to everything. Nice and quiet. I would recommend this property. Kitchen was big, roomy and updated. I would just recommend some newer living room furnishings. Couch could use a deep clean.. there were kids snack foods between the cushions. Guest bathroom shower curtain falls down easily.. Overall, great place, would stay here again!

Very clean, aesthetic, updated property. The kitchen was very well stocked, the location on the canal was perfect. We loved sitting on the porch overlooking the water. Great that it was so dog friendly. Easy walk or drive to the beach, which was also dog friendly.

A haven

Tucked away at end of a canal with a fabulous wrap around screened porch. Porch with many treasures: swing, sofa, chairs, rocking chairs, high top with gas/charcoal, stools, even dumbbell weights tucked away in a bin. Under house fully paved with screened in hot tub, chairs to use on well maintained dock.

Great Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Hooked Up. The house is very comfortable and the location was great. We took a boat and went fishing in the bay. We even ate our catch one night. Plus we really like SGI. It’s old Florida at its best.

Hooked Up! is a really great place. I should probably say it's terrible so I can keep it to myself! lol. We loved the location and size of the house. Very clean and comfortable and Kelly is a very responsive host and answered my questions immediately. We're looking forward to next year!!

Awesome

This was an Amazing trip. The property was wonderful and very roomy. We all enjoyed the spacious decks and the warmth of the fireplaces. The dock was great for fishing and the redfish were biting while we were there. We all can't wait till next time. Thank you so much for everything!!! Kelly is Great to work with.

Island Paradise

Wonderful time on the best island Florida has to offer for some R&R. Great location for a close walk to the beach to catch those early sunrises. Awesome back porch with screens to enjoy the cooler evenings without the bugs. Would stay here again.

Overall good stay

We were so happy with the house and property. Exactly as listed. Exceptions: no propane for 2 fireplaces on deck, no bikes. The big thing was the smell. It hit us like a ton of bricks when we walked in! The owner had scented jars in every room. Since I have allergies, we put those on the porch all the days we were thethere.

Fantastic location with easy access to the bay

Pros: I really did have an amazing time at "Hooked Up!" I rented a fishing kayak and spent every day out on the bay. I really appreciated the easy access to the canal, and the walk to the beach was very short/easy. The outdoor patio space is MASSIVE. The indoors is also very spacious. Cons: did not give enough TP, garbage bags, or dish washing detergent for our one week stay. There were no batteries in some of the TV remotes, the fireplace remote, or in the guest room fan/light remote. One of the kitchen table chairs was badly broken/unstable and unusable. Neither the oven light or stove light worked. It was my birthday and my girlfriend attempted to bake a cake, but when heating the oven the oven's inside started burning and was incredibly smelly. I do not think that oven had been cleaned in a very long time and so it was also unsable which was very sad because the homemade birthday cake was ready to go in. We ended up having to simply throw the cake away. For cleanliness, the master bedroom bedsheets and pillow cases were covered in small black hairs, and so was one of the bath towels in the master bath. This was quite gross. One last thing, we were never contacted by the managing company with a code to enter the property and messages on VRBO to the owner on the day we were supposed to enter were not being answered. This ended up being not such a huge deal because the owner did answer the phone when we eventually had to call, but still this should not have happened.
