Nice place but not so clean

The guy at the front desk was nice and cheerful. The breakfast was good. The only thing that stands out as a negative was the carpet in the hallway was so dirty it was almost black and our room had a funny smell, like mothballs.

The suite was really nice and spacious. I did ask for housekeeping during my stay, just for the bed to be made, freh towels, garbage empirical and vacuum if needed. They never came. I even went to the desk to remind them after i returned from being out and it wasn't done. He said he would page someone right then to go do it. I went and waited at the pool area for 1 hour after already been there for 21/2 hours and it still wasn't fine.
