We loved the location of the property and the proximity to St. George Street and downtown. The manager was very attentive and communicated via text, which was so convenient. He was also kind and friendly. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast that was included. Yogurt/ berries, eggs, bacon, hash, coffee & juices. Very nice. The property was clean and cute, but as with many homes in this historical district, it could use some TLC with the paint, hardware, and that’s why my score was not a 5 in that category. The bed was comfortable in our room, The Coquina, but it was extremely squeaky. We are newlyweds and this was a small hindrance. Ha. We will definitely return to this area and hope to stay here again. It was clean, convenient and comfortable. The hospitality was top-notch.

Romantic Getaway

This is quaint little Inn in the downtown area of St. Augustine. All of the rooms are upstairs so if you have an issue with walking up and down a staircase you may want to find other accommodations. It was very quiet and comfortable. We did not partake in the daily breakfast that is included with the stay, but it did smell really good. It is within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

It was kind of run down. We have stayed in alot of old homes that are bed and breakfasts and this one was sub par. The host was helpful. It was just not too appealing.

Not worth the money.

The bed was terrible and squeaked all night. Seriously if you moved an inch it made a loud squeak and kept us up most of the night. Room was really small. Breakfast was like a Holiday Inn. For the money we spent I would have expected more. The only exception was the location was great and people were very nice.

The location was terrific. Only i short walk to st george street. The hosts of southern wind inn were amazing. Their hospitality was off the charts! I would definitely stay with them again.

My son and I had a wonderful stay. AJ was an excellent host, very accommodating, kind, and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic! Our room was spacious, cozy, and clean. Close to everything we wanted to visit, as well as shopping, dining, and trolley transportation. We will definitely be staying here again!

This is a lovely old home in a prime location within walking distance to all the historical St Augustine sites. Our room was tiny, no fridge or microwave, and the ice machine was out of order. No food allowed in rooms. Coffee and tea were in the main room of the house which meant walking halfway around the building and up stairs to a locked door. Breakfast wasn't until 9 AM, by which time we're usually already out sightseeing. The place is very clean, but mostly just held together by layers of paint. I did not see the other guest rooms, so I can't speak to their condition. I hate to give this type of review because the staff, Ashley and Ajay try very hard to be good hosts. As there was no ice machine, they brought us a bag of ice and a styrofoam cooler for the 2 nights we stayed, and went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

Great ambiance and the staff was really helpful at check in and breakfast was great. Easily walkable to the fort and all the shops of St. George’s st. I highly recommend the Floridian for dinner.

Very not a B &B vibe. We were not met by the host. I had to make a phone call when we got in. The call was abtupt. "Thecm key is in the msilbox." Not a very safe feeling to have the key left outside. Breakfast food was alright. Hosts brought out the food and left no friendly conversation. While we were sitting there finishing breakfast, they had a bug guy spraying in the room. YUCK! I have stayed at this B&B a few times. It has always been lovely. Nithing about this place would want me to come back.

This is a terrible place to stay. Walls are paper thin. Jet bath is in a poor state of repair and in the bedroom not in a bathroom! There's no wardrobe or drawers to put and hang clothes. There's no way to adjust or switch off the a/c vents, that sound like a hurricane wind blowing through the room. For heat there is a very old, dangerous looking electric heater also incredibly noisy! Can't think of a worse room to stay, so glad it's just one night.... Also the room is not inside the main property. We paid $166 when quoted $157 why an $8 difference... If the room was $25/ night I'd accept it...

Our stay was well. The manager communicated well and respnded to messages. The room was clean and as described. We loved the ole elements of the house. We enjoyed the balcony at night people watching. Easy parking access. Walking distance from all main attractions. Yummy hot fresh breakfast. No on site staff at night 😕 could use some updates on the hospitality side-offerings but still decent as is.
