Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine Beach

The room was very nice and clean. We especially enjoyed the staff at the hotel. Our welcome was fun and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and the wait staff very kind and friendly. The front lobby was comfortable for family visits. We enjoyed our stay.

Beach was a one block walk away. No complimentary breakfast. Lots of good dining places around hotel. Pool was small. Hotel was clean.

If you want a beach holiday, book this hotel. You walkt down a small road and you're on the beach. The swimming pool is a bit disappointing, small and shallow (4.5 ft. maximum depth) and the exercise room doesn't offer much, but otherwise it's fine.

Over all very nice. A/C was on a mode that would not allow us to keep the fan running. Usually like the A/C on to mask hallway noise.

Very good..near to the beach..big room..the breakfast excellent..

Overall I would give this hotel a 3.5 star rating. I feel I'm a good judge of hotels, I work for an airline and spend 12 nights a month in hotels of all varieties all across the US, Caribbean, and Central America. I did read some of the other reviews, and saw a fair amout of negativity, and I'm not sure why. The staff was friendly and courteous, the Rooms were clean, the lobby, pool, gym, and other facilities were all nice. They do charge a bit more than the other hotels, and without seeing competition I'd bet they are not as nice. Good location, good stay, a little pricey for off season (early June ) but over all enjoyed ourselves.

Good location just outside of historic downtown St. Augustine and the fort. It was a reasonably priced place for its location and amenities. Right next door to a really good restaurant.

Enjoyed our stay, good value, room comfort and a friendly staff the location while not on the beach it is just across the street which my wife had no problem with we did not have to have an ocean view we just wanted access to the beach.

Location was right across the street from the beach and the staff was great.

The room was not as shown on the website, no couch and only one chair. It did have a desk. If this were a business trip it would not have mattered as much, but we chose this as our weekend away for our 38th anniversery The bed was not adjustable ( it had the dials but did not work). I guess the best I can say is it was fuctional but not comfortable.

We recently stayed here for a quick getaway and all I can say is Wow. We stayed in a room with a king bed, all of the kings have whirlpool tubs in them and the stay was amazing. The room isn't your average hotel room. It is oversized, large and very comfortable. The Whirlpool sits in the bathroom but there is old style shutters to open it up into your room. Very romantic and will definitely stay here again when we return.

Across from the ocean. A few nice resturants nearby. Good, clean.

We originally had reservations down the street for both nights, had to check out QUICK from the first one. Bugs are not my thing! This hotel was much nicer and the same price! My only gripe is that because it was bikers weekend (we were not) they wouldn't honor our AAA or Acitve military duty discounts.

I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. When my wife and I arrived, we discovered a trash can filled with trash from the previous guest. We also discovered the restroom was out of toilet tissue and had to ask the house keeping lady for a roll and give her the trash. When we went to watch the tv that was advertised on Orbitz as having video on demand, we found a tv with an analog signal with no video on demand. When I asked the desk clerk about the video service, she had no idea what I was talking about or seeemed to even care. We then tried to down load a video on my iPad to no avail. The wireless service was so slow it was basically usless. Not what I expected or worth what I paid for the room .

We came to St Augustine to enjoy a long holiday weekend for July 4th. Enjoyed the area, including fireworks we watched from the public pier across the street. Nice hotel for a reasonable price.

We stay every year at this hotel and love it! The beach is across the street and down a small side street from the hotel. (About a half block walk from the hotel). A couple of things that could have been better, the outdoor "heated" pool was freezing. The hotel also uses a tad too much water softener. Everything else was great! The room is huge! The sleep number beds are very comfortable! The restaurant next door was good, but a little pricey. The beaches are soft white sand and clean. Overall, we love it and keep coming back every year!

it was clean nice and a walk away from the ocean.

Attend a wedding in st augustine The hotel staff was the best ever encountered. Really made the trip worthwhile

Excelent hotel

We needed a place to stay overnight after attending a performance at the St. Augustine amphitheater, and this hotel was just what we were looking for. Great location - about a mile from the amphitheater, across the street from the beach, close to several decent restaurants. Hotel was clean, staff sufficiently friendly. Good basic accommodation.
