The rooms where okay. The breakfast was lacking. Had no eggs the 1st mornimg, had to tell the front desk and it took her about 30 minutes to bring out fresh eggs and bacon.

We were there over night, can’t say we had a bad experience because we didn’t. Our stay was enjoyable and pleasant. Breakfast the next morning was great. Staff member (male-can’t recall his name) he was awesome. Made everyone feel welcomed and ensured food was fresh and plenty.

If you have a bad back and cannot carry your luggage upstairs, either stay on the ground floor or stay somewhere else. There is no elevator. Additionally, immediately after checking in my wife used the toilet which plugged. The young man at the front desk came to unplug it rather quickly but indicated that the room (202) was a problem. I told him we’d be glad to take another room. As I said we’d just checked in so it would be no problem, but he said, “It’s usually ok once I fix it once.” Hmm. Well, the toilet had light duty for the rest of the night but plugged again when my wife used it in the morning. I called the front desk and they said they’d send housekeeping up. I saw housekeeping in the hall as I went to use the ground floor bathroom, but they never came to my room to fix the issue before I gave up and checked out. The breakfast was also pretty lame. Would NOT recommend.

Memorial weekend stay.

No elevator. Three room reservation made two months prior but did not get requested first floor. Room key would not unlock end entrances inspite resetting keys. Room charges showed up three times on my charge card. Charge was worked out correctly upon check out. Staff was particularly helpful. Breakfast was excellent and had several selections each day of our stay. The building stairwells, which are the only way to get to the second floor, were in dire need of vacuuming. The rooms (4) were slightly doggy smelling but were better on the second day. Was it the cleaning materials? The hotel allows dogs for a fee. Cudos to Robby and the young lady preparing the breakfast. Will stay three again.

The Cobblestone is always clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. On our most recent stay, the breakfast was open early on the weekend, because several travelers were either working or need to meet up with others earlier than the normal weekend breakfast times.
